I'm loving this show. I like that it tried to be different : Noey's character is something else, the wtf plot (a highschooler gang leader "bullying" a college boy) and the nostalgic tone... This is a weird crazy little show but I love it. My only "fear" is the age gap, both irl and in the story. I think because of it we're going to have a very tame, bromance like bl.
It's a good start. My only complain is the long stares and stiff body placement. P'Jojo should have left PondPhuwin's natural chemistry set in instead of forcing it.
Dude if you can't handle things like violence and rape (WHICH) Is clearly stated on what it is about....Then don't…
I'm not reading you and the others busybody. Just wanted to say that if you don't approve my comment, you can keep scrolling. I mean you and the other rapist apologists are always trying to silence people while you want to be free to proclame your love for problematic contents. I mean, you do you but let us breath ffs.
Totally agree with you! Li and Jia had a chemistry of their own!Tongtong did an epic job with Yang and Film was…
Madame Li & Jia's love and trust in each other was something else. They got each other back til the very end. I love their bond and respect their crazyness lol. I didn't know Film but I'm planning to watch some of his old series. I like his natural acting.
I hope you get the point why Tinn acts 'mean' to Gun instead of being nice to him!
Did I say I was bored with highschool bls? Last one I saw was 21 Days Theory and I really liked it. I'm saying I don't appreciate anymore the "I like you but I'm acting like I don't, for no reason except to create misunderstandings" trope. Anyway, have a nice day.

It's one thing not to let his feelings cloud his judgment, it's another thing to be a gratuitous antagonist. There were at least 2 times in ep1 were he could have been civil but chose not to be. Tinn being mean to Gun because of his mother or because he can't take Gun's cuteness isn't a valid reason. It's like saying it's cute and funny to watch a kindergarten boy pulls his crush's hair... So when his secret was revealed and we saw what he did to help Gun, it annoyed me. Like, who does that?! I guess I'm too old for this kind of childhish mind games.
Awww episode 9 was adorable. I just love how lovestruck Xun An is. He tries to hide it but somehow it pops out.…
You have to remember she's not just her sibling, she's his mother too. She raised him since he was like 8 or 10. So she's acting as a mother here, trying to see An's intention, trying to protect Bai Lang. I'm not saying I like it, but her behavior is understandable and realistic in this context.
I love the show. The only thing is - sister plot is a bit of an overkill. They are all adults, so realistically,…

Not again a series where the ML is secretly in love with the MC and helps him behind the scene while acting unecessarily mean to him. Why?! I wish Tinn was really an antagonist before he got feelings for Gun... 10 episodes is too much for this.
Until the end, Madame Li was badass! I've never rooted for a vilain in my life but I couldn't hate Madam Li and Jia. I didn't approve their actions but boy was I loving how they went at it and always came on top of the guys, always were smarter than anyone. The feminist in me loved seeing two strong women succeeding in their (nefarious) plan lol. Overall this series was a gem. The wonderful acting from the whole cast and the great dialogues made tolerable some irritating things (repetitive scenes, unbelievable actions...). And the brothers' love for each other was something else, so beautiful, I don't think I've seen something like that before. It's a 9/10 for me.
I came to the conclusion that people calling Toh a stalker either don't understand what they're watching or don't know what stalking is... Toh's behavior isn't more creepy than every fangirl/fanboy that collect their actor/singer goodies (posters, t-shirts, calendars and so on), take their photos when they see them outside or during an event and follow them on social medias. Does it mean every fan that ever existed is problematic and bonkers? Toh is basically Nuea's fanboy. The only thing he did that was over the top was keeping the food, and obviously this was for comical purpose. People are quick to critizice him but I'm sure many of them are/were acting the same for their favorite celebrity. I'd love for people to practice more self-reflection and honesty.
The big mystery of this series is why they hold back on the genuine skinship... First episode started hot, with a promise of sexy skinship and questionable behaviors but by episode 3 the feeling completely changed and we were left with fish kisses and tame NC scenes. It is upsetting cause MosBank are very comfortable with each other and are clingy in real life, so it's clearly a choice from the director.
Whoever watched p'Jojo's FriendZone knows this series is gonna be messy asf. Just come along for the makjang and the acting. Don't expect happy ending for any couple. Forget it.
They need to kill this pairing asap. I don't think BookForce have chemistry. Enchanté was painful to watch because of the horrible plot but the lack of chemistry was the nail in the coffin. This new series doesn't seem promising: Book is overacting in the trailer and p'New is the director...
I feel for Bai Lang cause I've been traumatized by some events in my childhood that make it difficult for me to develop romantic relationships. I understand too well his dodging and sabotage mechanism. I appreciate that they didn't drag it until the last episode. I usually hate the "love interest reappearance" trope but I think here it's well done because it gives us An's backstory, a better understanding of his personality (ie he's a nurturer and loves 100%) and also explains his present behavior (he's expressing his feelings now, he's not gonna waste years loving someone silently like he did with Qie Ran).
Why the rating so low? This series is so good! Everything from the acting, dialogues and cinematography is chef kiss! It's refreshing thanks to an original premise (dentist and patient romance), a MC with mental health issues that are not glossed over (therapy was even mentionned, which is quite rare in asian dramas), a mature ML who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to communicate and grown-up characters that act and talk like adults.
