I was thinking the ml being over smart and just bragging his abilities with the word "Im just being lucky" but I think it is true in most cases like in the last one he was on brink of withdrawal no matter how much head smart he had been he wouldnt be able to convince the ceo's daughter had it not been his own subordinate minjeong who made it possible for the deal and the previous eps as well , he was lucky with the picture of japanese person , he was lucky with the grandmother story etc but I think he worked hard enough to get divine help as a approval too , gives meaning to life and its endeavours.

thanks for additional information, I was confused about the girl part too so she was the adult editor in chief I thought the girl was the grandmother of the girl in supermarket lol so she was the girl in the serenery and also a bit older when she was in the market .

she was editor chief who looks exactly like ae soon mother and korean has the ideology that people born again after dying everytime and hence she might has been born again and ended up becoming an editor in chief who was reading the story of her past life daughter and felt connection of feeling proud of her while she dont know her in person .

i think huh ill do is the father of ml and the lady beside ml's father was his wife, his wife her husband and ml were caught in the accident and they both died except ml. but everyone thought they all died, the secretary and the fl's mom are aware of the accident and sus of the child's certain death which is why secretory was shocked hearing his previous name but the fl's mother confronted but the odd thing is huh ildo wasnt shocked in hearing that ,maybe he isnt the father.
