Soooo... Where do I start? This show surprised me in so many ways. Tbh I was worried cuz yk it's a gmmtv horror show and the only times it worked was when the team working on it was perfect. From actors to everyone bts. But when they announced the cast I was sceptical to say the least.

Acting: Pond was the one I was the most worried abt. I fell for him in futs but very quickly I noticed his monotone and small range of facial expressions. When Phuwin was screaming in the scene Palm got shot (-talking abt nlmg) he kept his monotone and it was so frustrating cause Phuwin did so well and made me completely believe him. But OMG did he get better in this show! Idk what happened in the workshop but damn the director and acting coach brought out something different in him. He is so good besides of the second he stared at the fan with wide eyes I was so in. Locked and felt so proud for some reason. Update: Some moments are still stiff and monotone. But he's still better than before.

I know Pahn from mlmu and I know she is good but this sort of character is so far from what I've seen her do and she's new so I was worried but she's incredible. Truly a treasure deserving to be cherished.

I found Dew acting a bit off but we'll see. It feels like he is going for the cool doesn't speak a lot style but in the wrong direction cause sometimes his voice lacks all emotion to the point I feel like I'm watching a children's school play. Update: Didn't get better.

Gun is Gun. I mean I can't say enough how incredible he is and how I love him and how he deserves all the awards in the world for every character even in The Trainee or Cooking Crush even tho they were more romcom. He was the only one I trusted since the beginning.

Story: This is how you make a first ep. It's so good. Good pace and keeps you wanting more. Some questions left for the plot to continue but not too many that you get frustrated. I really like how Day is protective over Ozone.

Update: The script got messy. It's slow paced and they over explain simple things like the viewers are idiots or kids. I mean was it really necessary to say the numbers (that look like numbers) on the drawings are numbers? And then explain it all again in front of Dream and Ozone? Really?
Also wtf was that explanation about the doctor "nobody wants to work on their birthday" duh. But people still do if they have to. Nobody wants to work at all but we have to make money in order to live.

Dream and Ozone feel unnecessary most of the time. Like they are on screen for no reason besides of filling the ep runtime. I'm so disappointed. I deleted the parts of the plot I praised in the first ep cuz they changed it in the upcoming eps and contradicted themselves. (Update ends here)

Directing: 😘🤌 Chef kisses. Again, I feel like he gets something out of the actors that make the characters so real and so intriguing to watch. And just in general, I like everything and love the beauty shots.

Color grading and editing: I don't like how gmmtv uses the same color grading for every horror or mystery show. It's too dull imo. Change it up a bit from time to time otherwise it just gets boring. No problems with editing. Happy to not hear dumb sound effects (edit: ep2: here come the sound effects)

Update: From 9 points to 4. Shame... I really thought this could be good...
