In the US , what he did would be considered rape and could get him arrested and maybe sent to jail. Obviously that’s not going to happen here. I don’t care if their step brothers, not related by blood, so that didn’t bother me. It’s just the way it went down that bothered me. You say “lots of people get away with violent rapes, and you are right. It hardly gets reported. A lot of times people are ashamed and embarrassed to admit it, especially for guys. That is one reason why people get away with it, also victim shaming. Also, trolls like you like to make these comments to get people riled up.

I did’t hate 2gether, but it wasn’t good. I hated the second series. It had every bad BL cliche. It was bad, but I don’t know if anything could be worse than Amore.

Yeah, the step brother part doesn’t bother me. It’s not like they are blood relatives. I just didn’t like the dark turn at the end of the episode. Overall the show has been fine. I just expected more from a History series.

I won’t drop it. It’s just sad that a lot of people don’t see that it is rape and not some cute plot line. The eye candy is too good to look at so I won’t stop watching. It was entertaining but for some reason the show got really dark.

I don’t really consider rape to be a good thing in fantasy or fiction., but to each his own. If that’s your thing, great. I found it a disappointing direction for the show, especially a History series.

The rape kind of ruined it for me.

The rape bothered me more than the fact they were stepbrothers.

I feel the same. It stopped being good after the rape which everyone seems not too bothered by. I thought it was creepy and gross. Not what I expect from the History series. I feel this show crossed the line and the stepbrother is horrible and selfish.
