If your goal is to become bilingual, it might also be worth taking a look at languages, which have more similarities to your mother tongue, beforehand. Mandarin and Korean are both quite hard from what i have heard, and it might end up being frustrating. Once you get the hang of it, you can re-use learning techniques etc
