It was good, a solid 8. Their chemistry is amazing, you can see So Hee smirking frequently. The pacing and resolution seem just fine to me, I can understand why some think the ending is too abrupt but it makes sense with the story.
after ep1 only irritating things are happening poor CGIdusty color palate to hide poor CGIthe weird crew doesn`t…
Feel free to point out what you don't like, since you appear to hate the vfx work that much.
Smoke sims are good and the lighting and compositing is fantastic. The only slightly rough aspect was some of the character animations.
The color grading is industry standard, done by dexter as usual. Teal & orange in some scenes and monochrome-like in others. That's very common because most people like it. Nothing "dusty" about it.
I can't believe you have to be explained how a fictional historical drama is tied to historical events and hence carries political weight. It's not that difficult to grasp. Telling people that they are oversensitive about historical events just proves that they are totally right having fears about the past vanishing with sheltered younger generations.
And get this — Korea isn't the only place where regimes mowed down their citizens with tanks just a few centuries ago. Respecting the historical struggle that enables you to speak freely isn't all that difficult.
there just found out that even the blue house accepted snowdrop https://www.soompi.com/article/1481238wpp/blue-house-responds-to-petition-against-broadcast-of-jtbcs-upcoming-drama-snowdrop
Sounds rather undecided
