Rating could be a bug, judging by the episode reviews. This has happened before.
Either way, the 'everything below 8.9 is a bad score' mentality has to go away. The average kdrama rating on mdl is above 8 or 7.5 with most reviewers only giving between 7 and 10, that's not how a 10 star system is supposed to work. I'm guilty of this myself but thought I'd point it out here.
people who shame or critize park hyung shik (i don't know whether that's actually the case, but three people here have mentioned it being a thing) are the female incel equivalents and need to touch grass. maybe even speak to a male person while they are at it.
either way, the first episode was a successful kick-off. very fast pacing plot-wise, but clean production as expected from studio dragon. description made it sound like a one-location story similar to #alive but that's not the case, atleast thus far. a lot of references to covid 19 which makes it that slight bit more realistic.
just drop if u didnt like the editing or smtg like that. ffs
Guess what, this is not your personal reaffirming echo chamber but a comment section for everyone to exchange opinions, both positive and negative. I gave things I like and dislike about the show. If your attention span didn't allow for understanding the first two sentences that's not my issue.
Also regarding your other comment towards Solie: you have been here for 4 months, so respect the viewing patterns of others who have been watching for years; it's not uncommon to decide after 2 weeks wether to drop or not.
Overall it‘s enjoyable so far; the setting is very interesting and refreshing (thriller and horror work really well in the mountain‘s forests), the acting is great as well and the rock soundtrack fitting.
Some of the editing and vfx is a little rough indeed and I’m not convinced by the supernatural premise at all, but will continue watching.
Okay, thanks for pointing it out :) Yes, I'm really enjoying it so far. I like the characters, acting and music, we'll see how the plot goes. I'm going to watch the third episode in a few minutes
