Whatever, I didn't quite understand the message function on MDL so here is the explanation:
Your device, let's say an iPhone, communicates with a website when you open it. The iPhone uses a so-called IP to communicate, which is a unique number, something like 12.345.678.9.
The website knows you are communicating via this IP and the website sees it.
The IP can be used to find out where you are and which Internet Provider (AT&T etc.) you are using.
At the same time, you obviously use a Browser, like Safari. Safari can be used by every Website you visit to find out (for example) : Your battery level Your language Settings Your device and browser Your screen dimensions Your audio settings
This is literally pirating. If you ourate without a vpn or Tor to hide your ip then you can get in actual trouble. The sites usually fetch your ip (e. g. for bot check etc.)snd once they get shut down for violating laws, the enforcements can uniquely identify you. Don't be surprised if you receive a mail from a lawyer/enterprise at some point.
Again, use a paid vpn like Nordvpn, privatevpn or if you can't afford it use Tor. The only free vpn which is acceptable is ProtonVPN.

China runs a governmental Firewall which Blocks coorperate VPN connections, Twitter, Google and the similar. For a positive weibo post about the goverment you get "Sesame Social Points" added. You can check the official Statements, they don't try hiding this for once.
Well, it's an espionage drama set during WW2. Of course the characters will be patriotic and love their country…
If you expect a totalitarian regime which logs its citizens social media activities and runs organ farms for minorities not to use media as a propaganda mechanism than you are kind of naive. We aren't talking patriotism here but minor details like traditional womens' role at home or "Religion = ridicoulous" which they are obviously NOT gonna throw into your face by letting an actor scream it into the camera. It's simply ideology to add to their existing framework, not to start a new one
Hi, what do you mean "closet propaganda by the ccp"? Thanks.
For example Douyin/tiktok is rumored to be used to reduce interest in politics in China, among young people. And there is a conflict between mainland China and Hongkong so they will probably use this as their propaganda mechanism
Can anyone help me identify the 2 paintings in Jun's room in the kingdom of corea (where "the cameras" were hidden)?…
I managed to track it down after distorting the image to face the camera: The painting which Lee Min Ho points on is called "Sts John and Bartholomew with Donors" (1527, Dosso Dossi)

You are welcome! Be cautious of "Professional vpn reviews" on google. it's always the same recommendations because of affiliate marketing. If you want other recommendations you can check reddit for the vpn subreddit or r/privacy

that's likely because it has too many users requesting the site from the same IP/Server. i'd try other us servers first and then switch to a different Vpn. I bought a (really cheap) Deal at keepsolid for 20 € life time. The netflix Server works well, and I use it on AndroidTV which is another benefit.
You could try ProtonVPN (the free one) and if you have a buck per month to spare I would recommend privatevpn. If you go to privatevpn. com/trial it's like three times cheaper per year as the regular one.
Private vpn even unblocks abc which is a really good sign because they blocked all my other attemps so far. They don't have any DNS Leaks which I could detect and they servers are really fast.
