Does anyone know what happens after CSS gets pushed into the water?? :( I can't wait to see what happens!! I hope…
I don't think I recall properly, but she does make it out the water. However, LBY goes after the princess' male figures (brothers) and basically beats the shit out of them.
Now I understand why Consort Yue runs the palace. She knows her clan is up to no good. Knows everyone's dirty laundry. That clearing scene she did at the lunch. Wheeww. I really do hope she never changes or is hiding an ulterior move. I will be hurt for our Emperor.
Someone; please spoil me how Lou Yao and Yuan Shenwill become not good enough for Cheng Shao Shang? I’m liking…
LY ends up having to marry his ex-fiancée because her family is wiped out during war, and her father had only one request to the king which was for her to marry into LY's family. It didn't necessarily have to be him, but because of hierarchy issues in his family, he is the one sacrificed. So their engagement gets called off. As for YS, right when they get engaged, LBY comes back. At first he wants to leave them alone and make sure CSS has a stable life. However, something happens and CSS comes to testify for LBY, thereafter he starts chasing her again *aggressively let's say, like he didn't even care she was engaged* . Rumors obviously run wild, CSS thinks she has disgraced YS's family and wants quits. YS goes to confront LBY, but ends up realizing LBYs love is deeper than his, and so he agrees to let her go.
My fellow drama lovers we survived rumors, stress and anxienty and airing dates. Lmfao. Let's continue enjoying this drama together. Also are we migrating to the other page tommorow??
Seeing how they are releasing ep 28 as part of part 1, it does seem they have some episodes from part 2 ready to air. I truly don't understand why they would sabotage themselves and have a month of break. While it's hot continue burning it up. Not to bring up the other drama, but it got canceled, moved, and then aired without notice, and look how that impacted the fare for it. My thing is if you weren't gonna be able to air all 56 episodes (as before) then wait to air at all. Let's see what they will say tomorrow.
The way the director frames and shoots his scenes speaks volumes. This is another instance of how good the storytelling…
No. It's also I think ep 15 when it's CSS with her 3 suitors plus her aunt's ex-lover at dinner. Cause LBY changed the question to if your fiancée can swim but the other girl can't who will you save? Master was all righteous like I wouldn't let the other girl die. My man LYB straight up was like it's my woman or nothing, the other girl can die. That alone was a glimpse into his personality, he don't care at all.
This show is so so good. Emperor and dad are great characters for comic relief, just adorable! ZLS is amazing…
Hasn't it been a trip seeing him in such swoonworthy role when we have watched him grow on screen? One of my fav roles by him was when he was a kid and now he had women's hearts in his grip. I feel like a proud older sister. 😂😂😂
Does anyone get the vibe that LBY is also a bit self destructive? He obviously has feelings for NN but I feel…
I think it's more of determined in payback that nothing can stop him from seeking a bloodshed. Part 2 will be exploring his dark side and how it impacts their relationship.
If they stick to the novel plot, then no. The empress will be her mother-figure. She loves CSS more than anyone.
The mom is still present (not a lot though) but their relationship is more of formal cordial relationship. CSS still consults her mom here and there about certain things for a perspective of someone outside the palace. But they never have the sweet mother-daughter bond ever. It just failed.
I also just don’t like that Yang Zi always plays the annoying ditzy girl in almost all her dramas. Strong independent…
I think foreign fans really just don't do well with the overtly cute dizty weak girl troupe because of the society we are raised in. In China it appears to be favored decorum for girls to be all shy and cutesy for decades, but a shift is happening evident in dramaland nowadays as well.
Yes, have high hope that Immortal Samsara could filled the gap while waiting for new episodes of LLTG but kind…
I think Xianxia writers are in a funk. After the success of Eternal Love they all just following the same formula. Also it's hard to manipulate Xianxia characters as the netizens are more strict with bending mythology and dieties' characters. Whereas "wuxia" has a lot more room more manipulation as these are "humans" and therefore anything goes. Though I do say I have seen some people on Twitter throwing some new ideas around Xianxia dramas that would actually be refreshing to see.
