Title Fix You Spoiler
I think the drama is trying to rid of the stigma against mental illness though. If you could see, the second episode…
Sure, the drama has some good points on the surface like having mental illness/therapy as the main part of the show. If the show's hope was to have more people understand mental illness and normalize getting therapy then they really should've researched more. The way therapy is handled in the drama is the biggest negative. The way the male lead deals with his patients is a huge nope. For instance, letting his patient act like a policeman? That is so dangerous for the patient and other people. Also, I don't like how they seem to be pushing the male lead's no medicine side as righteous and medicine as the "other" side. Using medication for mental illness is a perfectly acceptable treatment, but is viewed negatively in the real world, why are we adding to that? The world does not need more negative opinions on mental illness and treatment. Finally, the potential romance between psychiatrist and patient. That brings all sorts of problems especially power imbalance.

Hope this explains my side more! If you are enjoying the drama, please continue to do so. Everyone has different things that make or break a show for them.

I wonder why this got a 7 rating. I enjoyed the show and it was well done. It should have been at least 9.
I can't give it more than a 7 because I could not and did not watch the second leads. Basically means I skipped a good chunk of this drama. I only give dramas that I watch fully more than a 7. Also, I rarely give 9's to dramas unless it's almost perfect in terms of acting, directing, writing, and OST.

So far so cute (up to episode 17). The story is about college students, their goals and relationships. There is romance, but it is not the only focus. No huge conflicts, acting is meh to okay, and it can feel a bit slow as nothing huge happens. However, the main couple is adorable and the true highlight of the show. If you don't like the main couple, then this drama will not work for you.

The first few episodes were a bit difficult for me to get through, but was worth it for the main characters. Tbh the sound effects can be a bit childish and overused, but in some moments, they work well.

As for the second leads, I skip all their scenes unless the leads are in it. Fu Pei is a horrible character, and I don't care for Wang Shan with him.

Had a lot of fun watching this movie. The radish CG was ridiculous but adorable.

Recommended if you enjoy youth cdramas. Want something quick and easy to watch. Attractive cast (female lead does take some time to get used to, but I liked her). Quite a lot of skinship :)

Age gap AND the ML is her freaking psychiatrist?! Sounds perfect for an unhealthy, manipulative, and gaslighting…
I am not bothered by the age gap because she is a grown woman, but the fact that he is her patient...that's a nope! Media influences people in lots of ways whether they are conscious of it or not. Mental health is already so misunderstood. A drama like this doesn't help.

Shin Ha Gyun and Jung So Min, I love them both so much. Age gap does not bother me because both are adults in the drama (and in real life). I was looking forward to this drama, but I don't think I can continue. I don't like that he is a psychiatrist, and she is a patient because there is probably going to be romance. Also, so far, the way they handle patient cases has been atrocious. Mental health is already so horrible in Korea. This drama would've been an opportunity to influence some change at least in the way people look at mental health. I'm so disappointed. If people say it gets better, I may check it out again, but at the moment, this is a no for me.

is there no romance??
No explicit romance, but there are scenes that make not shipping pretty much impossible lol The main lead has chemistry with just about everyone. Also, great friendship chemistry/team camaraderie as well.
On Someday or One Day May 3, 2020
I am truly loving this drama. It is slower and melancholy, but it fits the mood of the drama. Alice Ke is doing very well portraying someone who was and still is in love. Instead of binge-ing, I want to savor it, so I am watching 1-2 episodes at a time.

I am having a lot of fun with this drama, and I don't know anything about games! I really like the game fight scenes. I can't really tell apart every character, but they are fast paced and exciting. It's not a perfect drama, but it's become my favorite to watch these days. I actually like that romance is nonexistent (I feel like when dramas force romance in shows like this, it usually doesn't work) though that doesn't stop me from fully enjoying Ye Xiu and Mucheng scenes :)
On The King: Eternal Monarch May 3, 2020
Officially dropped. I really tried to hold on because end of episode 4 got me all excited. However, I just don't feel like it's quite working out for this drama. So much potential and interesting elements...but the editing feels choppy, there's too much going on but not weaved in well, cheesy lines, okay acting, and I can't buy into the romance. Chemistry is subjective and can be developed, but only if the OTP makes sense. Lots of pretty, but overall, disappointing. I only have so much time in a day, so I can't keep waiting around hoping for it to improve. Hope everyone who stays with it gets rewarded in the end!
