Deng Chao and Zhou Shen as mentors make this show so much more entertaining. Youth with You's mentors are a snore fest (Lisa helps but her not actually being there feels disconnected).
I can see u dont have sense . First of all it is a drama u dont expect it to be perfect yes there were flaws but…
Because i actually backed up what i said -- she obviously wants to look pretty 24/7 on screen, so it's natural to stay as an idol. Why do you think the term "idol drama" even exist?
Anyhow, I'll agree with you it's an insult. Let's hope her next character is better written.
Can someone spoil me and let me know if there are any misunderstanding or breakups after the 2 main leads get…
I'm on ep 34 and so far misunderstandings are quite minimal between the leads. They actually have a good amount of heart-to-heart conversations to clear any misunderstandings. I am pleasantly surprised at the wholesome, realistic topics they are covering -- for instance, they are actually conversating about the honeymoon phase and insecurity regarding their difference in status. Really loving the scenes of them together.
This drama throws a wrench into that wheel of young, smart, handsome, wise, and cool CEO (in this case, Chairman) trope. Because this one (the 2ML) is a very dumb, unattractive, immature, and lame trust-fund man-child who was negatively affected by being raised with everything handed to him on a silver platter. Quite refreshing and annoying at the same time. lol
Pleasantly surprised by the FL's character at the start. She's cutely mischievous and funny; I'm actually laughing out loud when the two leads are together.
I really want to watch a cdrama with a epic love story where the OTP is destinied for each other , ofc must have…
I just finished it for the first time yesterday.
The FL is an awesome actress; she portrays her emotions through the screen so damn well. Her command of her tears are unbelievable good. I realized how much I love watching her on screen as the drama progresses. (First time watching Ni Ni)
The ML has the typical stoic and cold characteristics. His acting is also really good, but personally he took a little while to grow on me. Once he shows his emotions through his love for her though, I felt a rush of those emotions through the screen.
The chemistry is there when the two of them are on screen together -- although more from the FL at first since she has a more lively character. Yes, their love story is the "destined for each other" kind. It does start out slow, but once I got to episode 17, the story got rolling.
I said this already but I will say it again. Yes, the male lead Chang Chen is an older man, he is 12 years older…
Honestly, I did not like him at first because the lack of emotions from his stoic and cold character. But as the drama progressed his character opened up more and Chang Chen did a wonderfully job of portraying those characteristics.
The rating for this drama is dropping drastically due to ZS scandal. I know we hate what she did, but the other…
C-Netizens mentality that's why. 2021 but they act like they're in one of their ancient dramas. "You did bad? Then your family's 9 generations will be shunned!!!"
Anyhow, I'll agree with you it's an insult. Let's hope her next character is better written.
Edit: my goodness his character is such a loser; pretty bad in drama standards.
