Wow, for the 1st time i felt everything perfectly lay out and ending is very sweet. There are gud amount of humor & action for every eps, nothing too over exaggerated. Chemistry btwn main FL & ML spot on! Sad it ended on ep 40, really hope they will collab again in another cdrama.

The pace of this cdrama from up to ep 36 is very smooth. There is no draggy plot, Ban Hua character continue to become stronger even after she recovered from poison. The fact that she knows how to prioritize btwn love and military affair. I really like GXT acting so far. I like the fact Rong Xia continue to stay by her side even if he chose to break off engagement. I realized this handsome boy can fight with his fan and spear. Juz hope the remaining 4 eps will end this cdrama nicely or perhaps make a season 2.

I guess becuz of censorship and they wanna portrays the moral of story as "justice will prevail" and even the chinese title of cdrama seems positive rather than dark. Funny enough the novel was very dark.

I agreed with you. I sorta felt bittersweet for FXS that he forced a kiss on KY at the end. He truly obsessed w/ her and go as far as having someone abducted her then trick her to think the bomb on wedding dress was real. He was going to married her even she betrayed him. Boy oh boy... that bad boy vibe is 100% strong. Sadly, he got arrested and died from gunshot. FXS & KY chemistry is crazy tho in a gud way. T_T

After I watched all 30 eps, I felt like are 10 more eps going to be enough for this cdrama? I dun like wen drama being rushed to be finish or open ended (hint: a season 2). So far it mixed with happiness and depressing moments btwn both main FL & ML. I dun mind the bittersweet romance at all. Juz hope the main FL dun die on me!
