I think a lot of negative tweets came from the BL community. I definitely feel the same way about any fictional works like you said. I just read a lot about how some of the BL genre readers are differentiating between fantasy BL men and real actual LGTQ+ men. So that's something I found quite interesting because I find it hard to make such differentiation in any media and lit. I'm glad we got a more nuanced translation. It really makes a difference.

I agree with you. I think what bothers me is that she doesn't really explicitly mentions the LGBTQ+ community. She talks about the variety of her audience but that is rather vague. I don't think that her intentions are bad but her word choice makes it very easy to interpret it in various ways. I mean those people who are watching this and don't like BL, is she referring to people who don't watch any same-sex media or BL or does she mean who don't watch BL because of stigma or sexualization/fetishization of LGBT+ people? Of course, there might not be radical changes from one day or another, but she does play it safe. She does make some good points about consent. The BL genre in general is a very complex and sensitive topic with a lot of different readings. I think what makes it so difficult to do BL live-action is that in BL mangas men are sometimes seen as fantasy men and with the live-action, you have real men

Usually, we use the chat function because it is less distracting. It is difficult to find times that suit everyone, but even if you can't join every session, the experience to watch something together is always quite fun.

I highly recommend watching this drama. This is the first time that I feel like a story focuses on how meeting someone online and meeting someone in real life can be one hand, really frustrating, and challenging, and on the other hand, a beautiful inexplicable way of connecting with someone. Usually, stories about meeting someone online seem rather unrealistic to me but not this one. This drama made me laugh a lot and I'm usually someone who is hard to please when it comes to comedy.
