You are so right! He rarely does..The voice we hear made me forget about that I suppose. I think that's a really important point. Kurosawa shows his love more with gestures and his body language too. It's so nice to see him being more relaxed here. I can see and hear the difference. I love his acting <3
I just remembered how Machida mentions in one interview that people usually can easily tell his mood/emotions by his facial expressions
