I’m with both of you; glad I’m not the only one. Sexual assault, animal cruelty? Yeah...he sounds like a great…
Why does a post on such a controversial person has to be on the front page and couldn't be mentioned in a round-up post? The photograph you have chosen isn't objective either...
If you post about someone who has been the reason why people started to talk more about sexual assault and abuse in the industry and South Korea in general, you should expect a lot of "moaning". Maybe this post feels unnecessary to others. You give someone who seems to have caused harm to humans and animals a lot of space. It's hard to ignore

Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Presumption of innocence is one of the basics of democracy. I don't…
We are not a criminal court, so everyone can make up their own mind with the information we have. The system is in favor of powerful people. The truth is, that there is a very small number of false rape allegations. Just as film critic Yoon Sung-eun said "While the Kim Ki-duk case helped spotlight sexual abuse problems in the South Korean film industry, it is an issue that has been around far too long. The problem is that many cases are difficult to prove due to a lack of evidence. Worse still, Korea's social climate continues to make it difficult for women to speak up."
It's very difficult to prove rape and sexual assault. In the case of the actress, he was still fined with physical assault because of a lack of evidence. This article is taking up the main page of kisskh. Oh, btw his defamation and false accusation complaints were rejected by the prosecutors.

Exactly! Oh, and it must be nice to have that kind of power to just escape to another country. Honestly, this article makes me uncomfortable. There are enough talented people without allegations in the industry who don't get a chance and recognition, while people with money and status can hide behind their art and talent.

[the comment above me was deleted because the person was saying how tasteless this post is. She used the word r*pist. If you google the name of the director and do your own research, you can come to your own conclusions.]

I don't get why this person deserves a complete article. No talent and art in this world deserve recognition when the person behind it caused so much harm

so it's actually some incel bullshit? lol
yup super uncomfortable! I wonder now if the manga creator/author is one though :D I think it's interesting that the production made some small changes that really change the tone of an incel legend and make it rather appear wholesome and positive lol like Fujisaki is not portrayed as a problematic fujoshi. I also think that the most judgemental/shaming reaction comes actually from Urabe. But it's very accurate for men, their toxic masculinity and virgin-shaming. Kurosawa never seems to judge Adachi, in the drama at least. However, of course, the whole popping your cherry/ virgin construct thing is problematic from a cultural perspective.
Yup, Adachi is introverted, shy, and pessimistic but not judgmental. He doesn't look down on women, he's self-reflective. He pities himself, but it's not like he acts like his love interests/crushes are the delusional ones. However, I think in the manga he was rejected by the first person he fell in love with I think? So he has the potential background story for an incel XD

Person Machida Keita
Machida Keita is really not just a pretty face. I have only seen him in Cherry Magic and Alice in Borderland so far, but both characters are so different. It's fascinating how well Machida is pulling off these characters. I really hope that both of these shows are opening doors to even more thoughtful productions and dimensional main roles. After I read some of his interviews, I get the impression that Machida is still not very confident about his acting. In one of the interviews he mentions that up until 2018, he didn't seem to voice his wishes to play certain roles. I'm definitely looking forward to his next projects. You can see and feel how immersed he is in his characters. oh and he really has the best smile and his scrunchie laugh lines are just everything lol

Thank you for joining our watch party! Kosmi doesn't seem as reliable as I thought. Unfortunately, I can't prevent technical difficulties. However, after we switched to watchparty.me , everything was fine! Wow, so far it was really intense! I will announce the next party soon. I'm going to try to make it more convenient for other time zones. If you have suggestions, please feel free to comment here or on the discussion board. I think we will watch episode 4-6 together, but if anyone has other suggestions, I'm always open to hearing them
I will always post the latest information on the discussion board.

in this house we stan wise tsuge lmao
WHUT WOW! that's totally not the tsuge I would stan!!
I'm glad that it's not the case lol

I think Adachi will definitely confess before they're able to kiss. I feel like Adachi already feels too guilty to get more intimate with Kurosawa. I think we are going to see Adachi coming clean to Kurosawa but perhaps this will lead to a relationship where K. also believes that Adachi is proud of their relationship and is more confident in himself as well. Everything would be less complicated with the magical powers but also Kurosawa would still be secretly into Adachi for the rest of his life lol so
