I think Adachi definitely felt guilty right after hesitating to tell Tsuge about Kurosawa being his boyfriend…
you're right, no one is actually free from social stigma lol but as someone said once, what matters is our second thought. I totally agree with you. Kurosawa needed some clarity over Adachi's feelings. Adachi's definitely becoming more mindful about K's feelings but I'm pretty sure there are still going to be some chaotic misunderstandings lol :D I'm glad that Adachi's becoming more confident about what he wants and wishes. It's good to see that he's overcoming his fears. I love how there are so many possibilities to interpret one scene

I interpret it like you do. I think Adachi seeing someone else in love helped and like he told Tsuge before the…
I'm not exactly sure anymore how I should interpret it :D I definitely think there are endless possibilities and it all depends on which POV you want to look at it. I really like that he is more aware of the seriousness of his feelings towards Kurosawa. Honestly, if the episodes were longer, maybe he would have taken more time to talk about his relationship with Kurosawa and they would have had the time to talk with each other about telling others about their relationship

Interesting indeed. For me, if anything, I thought Adachi was guilty toward Tsuge. Like both he and Kurosawa basically…
That's another good point about guilt towards Tsuge. I don't think it's about Kurosawa not caring about being outed, but that there's a certain agreement/assumption that he's ok with it, without being actually asked. So yes it might appear as an one-sided confession. I guess for the Japanese LGBTQ+ community, such scences might have more importance, because they're closer to their real life experiences or how they wish things would be handled ideally. It's definitely interesting to think about different POVs

Kurosawa's reaction does seem natural and considerate of course. I guess the narrative and cultural background might influence the way we see certain reactions as natural. Yep, I agree he received a lot of love from Kurosawa and he seems to feel a lot of love for Kurosawa but he's not good at showing his feelings due to various reasons. I think it would have been easier for him to just let Kurosawa hear his thoughts lol
For Adachi, Kurosawa is his first love, first relationship + the factor that he might even haven't thought about coming out before he started liking Kurosawa. So I don't think it's a question of seriousness or shame, Adachi - an anxious person with low self-esteem- is receiving so much unconditional love from Kurosawa, which might be just a lot for him. So I don't think that the hesitation would be in any scenario related to shame. It's just very new. Adachi was introduced to us as this open-minded and kind person, so I think it's just a lot to handle for him. He's also not as good at expressing his feelings and wishes in general I guess. But I like that we can see his sincerity. I love these moments when you can just feel how Adachi has a confidence boost and is able to freely speak his mind

Oh, that sure is an interesting pov because I didn't take the "coming out" scene like that at all. To me it was…
Yup, I hadn't thought about the coming out part from that perspective before the person mentioned it. It actually got quite some retweets and likes, so I think it does reflect the pov of at least some Japanese people. I definitely agree that instead of assuming, it's also important to communicate your wishes. I think it's super interesting how much our cultural background and sexual identity - especially heteronormative views on love/relationships - might influence our views on a scene. Now that I think about it, I don't think it's badly written but I agree that the talking prior is important. For a lot of people there seems to be a difference between BL and LGBTQ+ media, but I think we can't forget that for people who live in Japan, a show like this is quite personal. Despite it being fiction. It does have an influence on how people achieve the LGBTQ+ community, even if it's just a small number.

I had an interesting interaction with a Japanese fan of the drama. They were talking about the scene where Adachi told Tsuge that Kurosawa is his boyfriend and that the writer could have handled it a bit better. The person was talking about how Adachi doesn't seem to be ready to come out to Tsuge yet. The way Adachi still confessed because of the prior situation at the convenience store where Adachi hears how Kurosawa's thinking about how he would fulfill all of Adachi's wishes if he had mind-reading powers. Adachi seems to feel guilty about not being able to fulfill Kurosawa's wish to make the relationship more "public". I think it was interpreted quite differently here and seen as more confident/getting serious about the relationship and his feelings/growth of Adachi here. He was inspiring Tsuge to become more confident and serious about his feelings. The person I was talking to, mentioned how Adachi should still have talked with Kurosawa about making their relationship "official"/public before Adachi just went for it and told Tsuge about it. It was basically an outing for both of them. I think when they're all together at Adachi's place, Kurosawa's way of handling the situation is seen as considerate. But of course, he basically assumes that Adachi doesn't feel comfortable yet. So we actually don't know for sure if Adachi wants to talk about it, because they simply don't

Can someone with editing skills edit the scene where Adachi and Tsuge are communicating through thoughts into…
I used to be ok-ish with Sony Vegas when editing was even more popular in the past :D But I really want someone to make a Cherry Magic crack video. I could attempt this but I don't have the time. It shouldn't be that difficult to mute the part where they're thinking. I was thinking about how hilarious it must have been to film that part and the after production with recording the dialogue lol

His character dies very early as in chapter 6 or 7 which in live action maybe be episode 2 or early 3 if they…
LOL I spoilt myself... I mean I read dead but not when he dies lol
I wouldn't watch it just bc of him tbh. I didn't recognize him at first. I came across it more randomly. I just hope it's not too gore-y/bloody and I will be fine :D

Never ever going to watch Netflix shows, no need of the intervation of the ccoporations that ruined everything…
I get what you mean, but I enjoy having Netflix as an option because my options for legally watching Kdramas and Jdramas in HD is limited bc I live in Germany Sometimes it's nice and comfortable to have a streaming platform option. I mean there are still lots of other shows not produced by Netflix, so there are enough options for everyone :D I definitely don't like Netflix's approach on some of their shows and how they do the marketing/PR for a lot of productions and the whole 2 seasons phenomenon. I guess you can't deny that they're making J-Dramas and K-Dramas more accessible and known overseas.

As much as I want to see Machida in it, the story is about survival game which looks quite bloody.. not really…
I'm definitely not into gore-y type of movies/shows, so I hope it's not too bloody :D That sounds like a good compromise lol
Netflix seems to be releasing the whole season at once, so I'm not sure if we can actually watch all episodes together, we'll see

I can't believe there are ppl who think this drama won't have a HEA. Of course it will! I know there are many…
the producer said that he doesn't want to hurt anyone with this story so how can they give us a sad ending and hurt us nope never lol
the director is talking about warm colours to make us feel the warmth of the drama and story... so nope never ever
however, it's sad and frustrating that so many are used that LGBTQ+ stories have a sad ending :(

Is Netflix going to release it all at once or just one episode per week?
I think it's one season at once but MDL confused me... Netflix is saying Season 1, so I guess the complete season? lol
