Great mixture of slice-of-life and mystery
Ok so I finished this drama and guesswhat I loved it! Lol that was pretty obvious
😂 The drama is a perfect mystery but in
the end you will realize it is more of
slice-of-life drama and that is totally not a
turn off for me! Cuz I love both of the
genres and when I got both of them mixed
perfectly in one drama then it's certain that
I am going to like it!
As you have read in the plot it's a story
about four friends whose name starts
from N and the murder case of a couple
and their name starts from N too lol. The
whole drama is focused on people named
N 😂 but it's really interesting. Nishizaki
got arrested in the murder of Naoko
Noguchi's husband ( whose name I forgot
😅) he confessed that he killed him
because he killed Naoko who he was
having an affair with.
At that time, his three friends were
" coincidentally" in the same room. He told
his lawyer that " everyone did everything
for each N".
After 10 years, he got realised from jail and
now an officer is reinvastigating the case
because he doubts the fact that nishizaki
is the killer. The whole drama tells us the
story from 1999 to 2004 mainly and also
skips back to 2014 that is the present time.
The events that lead to the murder of
Noguchi couple and what happened that
night? Who is the real killer? These are the
two big questions of the drama. They are
quit similar to any good drama. But the
thing that separates it from other mystery
dramas is that it doesn't focus only on
solving the mystery. It focuses on the life
of the characters and their feelings. Also
their definition of "Love".
I started this drama cuz it looked like a
good mystery one and also it is written by
my favourite writer. Yes the mystery is very
good. So good that even intelligent people
like me and my mother could not guess
who the killer is 😂 but the slice of life
element is as strong. I watched for the
mystery and loved the characters and their
lives even more. The ending is very
satisfying. Again that doesn't mean the
ending is happy. It also doesn't mean that
it is sad. That is for you to discover.
Overall I loved the drama very much. I have
a lot of things to say but if I speak more
then I will spoil it which will be bad cuz it's
a mystery drama. Overall if you like
mystery and slice of life dramas then this
one is surely for you.

The best revenge drama for me
I just finished this drama and I reallydon't have words to describe my
feeling for this drama since I'm so
emotional right now let me try my best
cuz well that's my job. This drama is a
remake a Korean one named LUCIFER
but since it had 20 episodes and this
one had 11 and this one had two hot
guys I decided to watch this one 😂 ( I
like hearing Japanese more than Korean
maybe that's why but whatever) .
Now to me this drama is not at all
Maou becuase I don't know what that
means but I think the name LUCIFER
totally suits the story as our main
character is totally like him. Now for
those who don't know Lucifer, he is
mythological character who was known
to be a very beautiful, hardworking, god's
and everyone's favourite angel.
Everyone loves him and so one day he
got over-confident and thought that he is
equal to god. God didn't liked his
over-confidence and as a punishment
he sent Lucifer to live in earth for few
months and come back but when
Lucifer started living in our human world,
a lot of bad things happened to him
which bad him turned into evil.
The most favourite angel Lucifer became
a Satan within few months. He never
went back to heaven as he had turned
into a devil. Honestly speaking I never
hated Satan even though he is known to
be a devil. Satan only punishes those
people who have had done something
evil.
He has never ruined an innocent people's
life. That is I never hated Lucifer too and
that is why I never hated ryo ( the
protagonist of our series ) who is just
like Lucifer and I also never hated naoto
( the other protagonist of our story ) . Of
course that is totally how I think. Now
you might be wondering how I got the
info of Lucifer and Satan well Click Here
to know the full story.
Now let me explain how Ryo naruse is a
best example of another Lucifer. Ryo
was a very kind hearted person. Totally
like an angel until his younger brother
died or should I say was killed by his
rich classmate naoto. Naoto never got
his crime's punishment becuase he
was rich and his dad proves him
innocent due to connections and all but
ryo wanted justice for his brother .
He wanted justice for himself, for his
family. He ruined his life by killing his
brother and soon his mother died to
sorrow. His life got ruined and now it
was his turn to ruin naoto's life. The
whole drama is about the revenge of
him and honestly speaking I have
watched a bunch of revenge dramas
and yet this one is a very unique.
I am not very fond of revenge on a
whole but this drama showed revenge in
a very different and realistic way unlike
other dramas of the same genre and I
really really liked it. If it was another
revenge drama the main hero would've
killed people from his own hands or
something but this is not at all the case
here.
Ryo is so smart that he never kills his
enemies from his own hands, he makes
some else kill them by making those
types of coincidences or make it a
natural death or accident. He even
saves the people who he "accidentally"
made killers as you know he is a lawyer
but that is not all the reasons why I love
this drama.
The drama showed us the feeling ryo
totally well. Even though he killed many
people for his own satisfaction and
revenge he never got satisfied, he
always felt bad for the people who died.
He calls himself a devil but to me he is
an angel, ok calling him an angel would
be too much because we can't forget
the fact that he is a murderer and that is
why I like to call him Lucifer or Satan.
Now let's come to naoto, our second
protagonist. He suffers from PTSD or in
simple language past truama. He killed
someone ( accidentally) in his past and
still suffers from the guilt and he should
there is no doubt in that. I don't wanna
spoil the drama but let me tell you that I
loved him too even though he is a
murderer and well so is ryo. His life too
is not at all good just like ryo. Ryo and
naoki shares a lot in common. Both of
them claims themselves as a devil but in
reality they both are Lucifer.
Their relationship is one of the unique
ones I have ever seen. They both are
enemies but the love they both develope
for each other reaching the end is so....I
won't call them enemies. They hate and
love each other at the same time. They
are frenemies for sure😂
I am not gonna spoil the ending but I am
really satisfied with it. Really this drama
is my favourite revenge till now. I can't
say about the future but this one is
gonna stay in fav list forever and that's
for sure. The way the drama portrayed
the feeling of both of our protagonists
is just awesome and damn like this what
I want from dramas. To show the good
side of the villian. That no one is a devil.
But of course if you have done a sin you
will have to pay for it cuz karma is a real
thing in the drama.
Ryo and naoki made me very confused
as I loved both of them and who should I
support but the end made it very clear😂
Oh also the female lead in this drama
totally me. Poor her and poor me😂
Also I love how Japanese people make
dramas and their cinematography the
most becuase the cinematography is
totally based on the genre of the drama.
If the drama is happy then the scenes
are filled with colourful things, cherry
blossoms and all. If the drama is sad
then the atmosphere is very dark and it
just feels like the genre suits the story
very well.
In conclusion watch this drama if you
love revenge, psychology and mystery
kind of dramas. Cuz this one balances
all of them very well and you will surely
be not bored. The drama has a little
romance but not that much. Also
prepare for tissues before handed 😂

One of the Best time travel and crime drama ever!
I watched this drama very recently and ohgod I loved it. I was a little scared that I
would not like this drama but I freaking
loved it so much. I thought at first that it
would be another drama where we have
to find a serial killer and all and well it
was kinda same but we had to find two
serial killers and a lot more than that.
The thing I loved the most about it that
unlike some detective dramas it showed
the corruption of the police department
and how rich people get away even though
they commit a big crime. It was like an
eye-opener. The time-travel element was
very well written and executed it had its
own rules and they never were broken.
The actors did their jobing like so perfectly.
I specially liked the old detective like
whenever he cried it felt totally real. The
most thing I liked was how the characters
and the story both was so well balanced.
It was just amazing of a drama. Another
thing I liked that the criminals weren’t
labeled as “human trash” just because they
did a crime.
It showed how victim’s family and
criminal’s family was effected to. And just
it was a fabulous drama and I am eagerly
waiting or the season 2. The ending left
me speechless and it needs to have a
season 2! It needs to!

Love yourself before loving someone else
Love Game in Eastern Fantasy is your typical isekaid drama where the Female Lead transmigrates into the world of a novel she left a bad review for . In that world, she inhabitants the body of the Second female lead who's supposed to be secretly evil. Her mission is to save the world and conquer the heart of Mu Sheng, who has a complex personality. The drama is very funny and the chemistry between the leads is amazing. I enjoyed it for the most part. It feels like I'm watching an anime but with Chinese mythology, the stories of the demons are also interesting in the beginning at least. I feel like the drama lost its momentum a bit in the 2nd half.
It started becoming more and more boring towards the end and many plot points didn't make sense, it felt like they were added just to increase the time span. Many arcs were utterly boring but the magic that Esther Yu and Ding Yuxi create by being together was interesting enough to continue. The supporting characters were not memorable except Cuicui and his grandpa.
It's essentially a drama about self love and how we should be kinder to ourselves and the people around us. How we shouldn't judge people by their status if they are demon or human. Both can be evil or kind. We shouldn't fixate too much towards endings, it's the journey that counts. Although these messages and theme are beautiful and made me cry a bit, especially how they portray the beautiful bond of friendship and romantic relationships. But i felt the execution of these themes could've been better.
Overall, it was trying to be something more but it kind of failed to be but the romance was incredible, I wish we had more moments of them and the comedy is also brilliant. Despite all the flaws, it's actually a pretty good drama to watch once.
8/10

So, Not gonna lie, this is actually a pretty good adaption. The thing I loved the most about it is casting choices and the CGI. The cast looks exactly like the ones in the webtoon and if they didn't, they made them look similar but great make-up and while the CGI was hated by a lot of people and I can see why, I still loved it becuase literally every monster looks just like it looked in the webtoon! The CGI isn't used to make the monsters look realistic, it's used to make them look how they were in the original webtoon and props to them cuz they really did well! They are supposed to be unrealistic and sometimes funny!
Another thing that is pretty good about it is that it stays true to the original content to some extent. Yes they have changed a few important things but they still followed the original work quite well. I've seen a LOT of adaptions of my favourite original work, be it a book, webtoon, manga etc etc and most of the adaptions disappointed me but this one didn't. The changes were forgivable in my opinion.
What I did not liked though is that some characters are definitely written and shown differently to the audience than the webtoon. The webtoon goes VERY deep into the psychology of it all and although the drama does that too but it's not as deep as the webtoon and more feels like a normal zombie apocalypse thingy.
Now let's talk about the acting, it was good enough but definitely not mind-blowing. I was expecting song Kang to give me those bad boy vibes who was done wrong by society but they showed him as innocent and a victim since the beginning which took away the fun and enjoyment of it all . Seeing him grow as a person. Although again they did show some of it but the sane depth wasn't there. Song Kang's acting again was good enough. Not bad at all but definitely not super impressive and honestly I feel that about everyone here.
It's actually a good drama if you dobt compare since it has good depth in characters with grear psychological insights but still not as awesome as the webtoon.
Background music was actually good for every situation they were but nothing memorable.
Rewatch value ? Watching the whole drama was re-watching the story for me so I'm definitely not gonna re-watch it lmao
Ok, so in conclusion, if you haven't read the webtoon and enjoy gory things with psychological elements then this is definitely for you!
If you have read the webtoon then you may not enjoy it much but it's still good.
Is it scary ? If you can't watch gory things then don't watch it. Other than that its good. It's not necessarily scary but definitely a lot of blood lmao
Enjoy watching! Thanks for reading my review!

One of my all time favourites
All of my friendsknow how big of a moon lovers fan
I am. I just love this drama so so
so so much and there are so many
reasons for that as it is sad and you
all know how much I love sad and
tragic dramas.
2nd thing is the actors I mean you
gotta accept the fact that the cast is
amazing consisting lee jong gi, IU,
kang ha neul, ji soo, nam joo hyuk
and many more fabulous actors (
and they all are hot too ). They all
potrayed their characters so well that
I was fascinated by it.
3rd reason is the story of course. I
mean for me story is the main
important thing in any drama. The
story was very well written that in the
first episode it made me laugh out
loud and so they made me connect
with the characters and when I got
enough time to connect with the
character they broke our hearts by
making them suffer a lot.
I won't tell how they suffer as it will be
a spoiler. The characters were well
written. I liked the fact that nobody
was “perfect” as a lot of dramas do.
And the chemistry between the leads
was awesome! From episode 1 till the
last episode I laughed with them, I
cried with the. If it was a sad scene I
would feel bad for them if it was a
happy scene I would feel happy for
them, overall their chemistry was on
another level!
Like they are my favorite couple that’s
for sure. I really liked the female lead
too. Even though many people don’t
like her but I think she was very strong
and had her own very understandable
reasons for doing the things that she
did in the end. If I were in her place i
would have done the same.
Overall the drama holds a very special
place in my heart as it’s the first and
last kdrama that made me cry a lot
and not only me but even my mom.
She cried more than me and she also
loved this drama so if my mom likes
something then it has to be the best.
Period.
