I would like to disagree with you regarding the job. If I want to climb the hierarchy in nestle because I love working in that company. I like the challenges and opportunity it gives me then people need to respect my goal to stay in nestle.
In the case of Babi, maybe he doesn’t seem as adventurous as Woong in terms of opening up hisown company, but he clearly excelled and is doing his job properly with the way the show portrayed.
His position changes to a higher hierarchy and even given the opportunity to go for overseas business trip. That’s how you know the company is big and is able to provide great challenges and opportunity for their employees, but at the same time we can see how Babi is actually an ambitious guy on his own way. He seeks for different purpose when it comes to his job instead of just money like how Woong mentioned to him.
Also, the fact that with his salary he was able to buy a house in Jeju already tells a lot about the kind of job he does. It may seem simple but maybe you need to appreciate that some people just have different goal in life and that is completely okay

If you have the time, do watch it. But, some who didn’t watch season 1 also didn’t find trouble keeping up with season 2. Yumi barely have any growth in season 1, so the way season 2 starts is quite similar to season 1.

Some viewers are too engrossed by other character’s perspectives of Babi, for example Woong’s, Ctrl Z’s and Yumi’s perspectives that Babi is suspicious especially these recent episodes, where they even add flashbacks from Woong…
Some people choose to understand Babi through these people’s ideas about him so they can’t really connect the hidden points in these episodes which showed the true Babi.

I really hope the scriptwriter intentionally make Babi mysterious. Throughout the whole show, we barely see Babi’s cell village.
But instead we get A LOT of different characters’ perspectives, and assumptions related to him. And we viewers ended up making lots of assumptions related to Babi according to the information we got from these different characters.
This might be flaws in the writing (if it is, then the writer really need to go back to school and learn how to do better because it creates lots of misunderstanding), but I feel like it is more likely to be intentional so I hope in the remaining episodes they clarify more about Babi

They are just trying to show the reality of 2 people who wants to be together after a break up. There are uncertainties, cautious and desperation. They are trying to make things work out, but don’t know how to fix it and return to before.
At the end of episode 12, they showed that there is a stepping stone: 1. For the first time, Babi showed his vulnerability and insecurity in front of Yumi. Yumi always sees him as the perfect boyfriend, but after the break up, Babi is disappointed of himself for not being able to be the best for Yumi. So now Yumi knows Babi is just another human. He has his own flaws too.
2. Yumi and Babi confrontation at the end of episode 12. This is a big step, I hope this will be a start to many more confrontation and deep communication for them both.
3. The kiss: Babi kiss to show his desire to be with YumiC Yumi respond to the kiss to tell him that she wants to be with him too.
Idk how their relationship will go for the coming episodes, but if they do decide to break up, I hope they don’t regret giving each other another chance.

One year with Babi, she said herself, she felt the most loved. Babi supported, comforted, trusted, loved her so much, that Yumi was able to grow to become the person she always dream to be.
While staying with Babi, Yumi’s wings were unclipped, she found her love, dream, she find the courage to chase for her dream. Whoever get someone like Babi is the luckiest person alive. Remember when Babi was with Jayoung, Babi’s ex, Jayoung becomes a successful reporter (but they ended up break up because the girlfriend was too busy and she dumped Babi).
Babi as a man, despite his own insecurity, he never clipped his loved ones’ wings. That is why Yumi adores Babi so much. Babi contributed so much in her life, now that Babi is so in-doubt with himself, I hope Yumi can give back what she has been receiving from Babi. I believe they can work things out together. It is obvious they want to be together, it is just that for now, they are trying be very careful as not to hurt the other side anymore.
