The only 2ML I truly loved was the one from You're Beautiful he was far superior and treated the FMC way better and they were so beloved and had fantastic chemistry they got their own drama Heartstrings together which was so good.
This is going to flop so bad, and not because of the actor. It's because Solo Leveling quite literally does not have a story. A show like One Piece has a core cast of characters that are intriguing and vast locations with plotlines galore that works in a live action setting.
Solo Leveling's plot is literally dude gets an insane OP abililty, goes into raids by himself. Beats boss then captures said boss then brings him into his army. Lather rinse and repeat quite literally for the first two seasons.
The supporting characters are quite literally useless in this show, don't do absolutely anything but reveal just how strong MC is.
And something tells me Netflix is not willing to shell the money for the amount of insane CGI they would need on this show.
This will NOT work in a live action setting, because it will feasibly not be able to do the things the anime is known for. "Hype moments" and "Aura" without shelling out A LOT of money.

You know I'm all for a messy ass show where a bunch of people are just sluts and screw around with one another and have multiple kissing and sex scenes with a bunch of people. None of this oh only one person can have sex with this specific person.

if they make a s2 it's literally the true start of the web toon. s1 is basically a prologue to the start of the webtoon. the final scene of season one is beat for beat the start of the webtoon.

This year alone I can name at least 10-15 W/W shows. I guarantee you you couldn't do that for M/M that is not produced in the west.
