yess Xue Ruecheng was actually Xue Tang; Duke Chang study mate. I remember in one ep after he got hurt, Dr. Zhang asked him to be careful not to catch smallpox since he don't get it yet ( I think it's similar to chickenpox) and remember Jinyu once said about Duke Chang having smallpox and in the end he died. So in the end the so call Duke Chang was never there lmao

also I wish to see scene with Wu Jiang and Jinli together. Both of them are so protective over Jingyu lmao

Aaaa finally finished this! What a good ride. I'm up for season 2 to explore more about the characters's background and love story. We get a lot of mysteries and investigation this times but it's must be interesting to see Jinyu, Jinli, Jing yi and Leng Yue childhood stories and their love life. They end the drama abruptly such a bummer :(

If I'm not mistaken around episode 25 but tbh, they're sweet to each other but identity differences need them to slowly accept each other but no worries they will be the most mature and healthy cp^^

I've got some random questions that I hope someone would answer it

Why is Xiao Jinyu title is "Junwang" or "Commandery Prince" not like the normal I ever heard as "wang" only. Is it because he is the prince consort son? I searched for it but still confusing also why his brother, Xiao Jinli is marquis? This make me confused more. This is my first historical drama with prince consort's son as the lead so all the ranks make me confused af. Also, the late emperor's son was Duke Chang, why not as prince? But, this ain't that confusing maybe it just the subs.

This is so gooddd sure it's not my type of drama but all the elements are nicely wrote and the plot was so interesting. Looking at the comments the only thing they complain about was the ending but nahh what is cdrama without unsatisfying ending so gotta binged to the end <3

I'm not someone who support second couple so much but I never skip sec cp scene in other drama but this one is an exception. My hand just fast-forward every time it's their scene the only reason I stay because I love the ost of their scene. I love Zhu Yan she is such a good girl, Li Heng don't deserve her. I really hope she dumped him someday. and Nongying died? Like I'm okay if she's in comma or smth but died? The villians alive but she got the saddest ending? I hate the writer!

On episode 11 and I might need to drop this drama. Well, it's not that bad. People talk about the fl lead's voice but I don't care about it that much. I find this drama particularly plain. The plot is straight, not much twist. If I'm new to historical drama, this might be good but I'm kinda picky now but who know I'll pick up this later? Kinda wanna ask since I don't finish this yet... Who's the black dragon? Him or his brother? If it's him I need to complain since this man use "white" clothes even his hair is actually white that I thought his brother is the black dragon but when he accidentally confess, he said he is the one who save her....?
