Pheuww finally finish this one. 9.5 for me! the reason? I HATE HOW THEY USED SUCH A CLICHE TROUPE UGH. from the start, my rank for the drama is 100/10! This drama have show a lot of new things. I love the sweet witty bantering between the lead. That make me stay. Also not all characters are perfect even the main lead. They grow up and learn to be better self. The relationship be it the couple, sismance was all chef kiss.
But the cliché troupe just make me drop my rank. I mean yeah independent women is the main theme but Pan'er start a big business just because of the supportive word from qianfan. Logically she's not a native, she need someone to trust to make sure she won't fail in a new place. Can't an independent woman have a supportive husband by their side? Why did they just won't continue with the couple having healthy relationship while Pan'er doing her business? Is not like Gu Qianfan have a mind of business or anything. He never make decisions or disturb Pan'er plan. Gu Qianfan is Zhao Pan'er biggest supporter and vice versa. Idk the writer ruin it for me. I still love the ending but it's feel short because of this.
I'm on ep 38, and have a doubt: why everybody says Qingfan married Pan'er? I thought they were engaged only. When…
my logic would be the translation was off. like even with ouyang xu x pan'er they sometimes used married sometimes used engage. I don't think they're married yet since a lot of things happen right after they make up? idk it's just my thought.
really recommended! for me a breath of fresh. it's really rare to find a drama where the lead travel from city to rural area. the romance are there but more to slice of life <3
I know she went through a lot of horrible experiences that led her to become cynical, but I don’t like how Yinzhang…
tbh, about yinzhang I have many problems. she also used man right? just because she got jealous of pan'er so in what sense she got character development? she is like that from the start. treat men as an enjoyment and change from a man to another man so quickly. I'm okay with other girls but maybe not her.
Stay until ep 6 just because the lead relationship weird me out at first but maybe I'll continue. The chemistry is good and everything is going good so far (more like relaxing and nothing exaggerating) but the girl who come to Guangxi's house uninvited and live there? can someone kick her out already? she only appears for some scene but I really want to throw hand
just a little comment from someone who want to wait until 3rd July :D
6 eps without gu qianfan x pan'er interactions, well that's hurt after all the sugar they gave us :D
but I could totally understand why the director choose this. if they keep letting qianfan helping pan'er in her bussiness this won't be a female-centric drama. although the way are pretty cliché.
Additional about chi pan : he always make me laugh but when he asked pan'er tu kowtow to him, I just lost my respect towards him. That's not funny in anyway and he really deserve that slapped! I'm glad he help Pan'er but that one action of him just ruin it for me. I'm glad haohao found another man for herself ^^
seeing all the comments for thurs/fri eps ah make me excited but worried at the same time. will watch it after ep 32 out so I can hurt myself altogether Ig
I'm here again still thinking about the events of episodes 25/26. All the time I was wondering and I couldn't…
Idk why but I always got this feeling that Gu Qianfan actually know about Yinzhang feelings toward him. Starting from the moment he ask Pan'er to hide the fact from her I've been thinking. It can't be just because she can't keep a secret that he don't want her to know. and that boat scene when Pan'er said that Qianfan also save syz why didn't she like him? I think that moment also indicated that Qianfan know about it. Idk if all this just because he don't have much trust to her since the first impression he get of SYZ is pretty bad. Ah I really wonder too
I actually want more of Chi Yanei and Gu Qiafan. They kinda look fun together as we don't get a lot of scene of gu qiafan having fun/teasing others. Mostly with Chen Lian. And looks like Chi Yanei know about Gu Qiafan background well but he still know how to kerp it secret.
The highlight of ep 22 will be the flower petals scene. I was smiling like a dumb person lol. Also when Sanniang said Zhaodi is clever than Yinzhang I can't help agreeing. She literally live in her own bubble! Even Zhaodi notice abt Qianfan and Pan'er faster than her hurm.
After watching till ep 22, I changed my mind. At first I'm kinda worried about Minister Xiao but right now I think he's the most safest and reliable elder around Gu Qiafan. I can't even believe Qi Mu now..
