Lol I'm not trying to diminish your hating skills or the pleasure you get from it. I'm just trying to point out that this drama is successful because the publicity and audience engagement that is getting is absolutely unmatched. Whether is positive or negative, that's on individual viewers to decide.
Exactly! That's why I don't believe in these so called low ratings since the amount of comments, apology letters the show has had to write, and the discord this drama has brought show that people are indeed watching it....even if it is to hate.
Someone shed light on the rating system I keep hearing about....and how it has gotten back and forth from low to high to low again. Are they referring to when is being aired in South Korea cable television or Neflix? Or Both. I'm confused about that and I've read many articles but none of them have been clear.
So I'm on episode 8 and although I love the actress, I'm starting to be annoyed by her character here. She's so whiny and lacks a backbone. I will give it until episode 10 before I decide to drop it or continue
Am I the only one who loves "rose Michael" Jangmi? I loved how he was calm when he was walking and putting the…
He's a treasure for sure! One of my favorite scenes in the drama so far is when he showed up with comforters and candles for Shin Jae when he was staying at the station. It broke my heart a little....but in a good way.
I follow a few Eternal Monarch fan groups on FB and I saw most of them there...Instagram also has a few! The best is the one when they're practicing their forehead touch scene....so cute!!
I agree. Like I see the BTS clips and they're super cute and the chemistry is palpable....i just don't know why it doesn't always translate in the drama
BL Lakorns can go much further with product-placement. However, they often make it into fanservice moments so…
Wow thank you so much. Super informative. I'm relatively new to Asian dramas and since the first one I saw was a K drama, I stayed within those bounds. That being said, I'll definitely check out Thai BL dramas. I'm all for learning about a new culture through amazing dramas!
I have questions. Who is the woman that was looking at Shin Jae photographs? Shin Jae was brought to the other…
The woman in the book store is Shin Jae's real mom. Yes, he was brought over when he was a child. Most likely, the Republic of Korean Shin Jae is dead (my theory is that be wasn't killed but probably succumbed to the coma). The woman in the car is Lee Gon doppelganger's mom (the one that "died" at 8 years old).
I have mix feelings about this show..but i don't understand how everyone is surprise that shin jae is from the…
Being a monarch literally means "divine right." Like they were chosen for a higher power to rule all the people. So LMH is acting the way a king should act and Yeong like a king's "sword." Think of it like a president on acid and the secret service
The product placement can get overwhelming but I kind of enjoy the fact they don't give a F about it lol. Also, we must remember each episode costs about $1.15 USD to make .... so I don't blame them.
Correct. Although it seems like she tried to get the job done several times but Lee Lim and squad didn't let her.…
Yes. She tried to kill herself. I don't think she's living the greatest life. Remember there was a scene in an earlier EP were she was dressed raggedy and was cleaning and then Lee Lim left her in that room while she was crying.
.
Not Shin Jae.
