It was made unconventional way..like the webtoon. KMC has to catch the killer while solving the killing..it is a lot actually. With 3 murder cases and the fourth is a potential mass killing. They left clues between episodes so that we can find it before they revealed it. You must be patient with mystery thriller. Some viewers dropped it early on because they did not like high school students involve in investigation when the student is the killer.
They focused on KSJ because he is the designer and all clues pointed to him The characters background is revealed one by one. Episode 7 is all about KSJ and LMS story.
