I would hope he eventually told him when they reunited. It probably led to some dual cultivation, hehehe. Can…
I think it just might be wwx's favorite song xD Oh my god, yes, LQR wakes up just to tell wwx to stop playing that horrible tune and then later lwj gives wwx the flute and tells him to "play well" :(((
After that ending scene, after WWX turns around with a bright smile on his face :)
Yeah, I did read up on the actual order of ending. So it goes like this: 1. wwx and lwj part ways after lwj says he can't accompany wwx. 2. wwx comes back after travelling around for some time and plays wangxian atop that hill where lwj says "Wei Ying" and we get to see wwx's bright smile. 3. wangxian go to cloud recesses together and the scene with nhs takes place. 4. wangxian under the waterfall smiling lovingly at each other.
But I also agree with you. I love the original CQL ending because it was just...right...and so full of feels lol.
I would hope he eventually told him when they reunited. It probably led to some dual cultivation, hehehe. Can…
Yep yep, that song must be on wwx's mind a lot because he plays it even when they part (temporarily) and he's pretty much acknowledging that the song is THEIRS <3 ugh I love those two so much
Aw, why? She wasn't really a saint but like @Syd said, she was struggling with her own issues and didn't deserve…
Yeah, If I had to pick one parent to blame for yunmeng bros fallout, it would be JFM and not madam yu. Had JFM not blatantly favored wwx over JC, JC would not have developed this inferiority complex. tbh the entirety of jfm's generation were fucked up parents and it's no wonder their kids turned out to be messed up as well.

Yeah, I understand why you must be feeling that way towards her but the fallout of yunmeng bros' relationship is both wwx's and jc's fault. JC loved his brother immensely, despite his mother's distaste towards wwx. Madam yu also did not "hate" wwx. She let him live with her family, eat with her family, but most importantly, she trusted wei wuxian when it mattered the most. She sent off her precious child in care of wwx and not that is not something she would have done had she truly despised wwx as much as she liked to show. Having said that, the whole yunmeng family dynamics is extremely complicated and dysfunctional and no party is 100% good or 100% bad.

Yep, that's what I think as well. Lwj would tell wwx the name of their love song and wwx would connect the dots and then they will get married and live happily ever after ?

I think by that point, wwx has realized that that song holds a special meaning for lwj and is somehow related to wwx because he's figured out that lwj has only ever sang that song for him. Also, lwj confirms that he is the composer sooooo ;)
okay, after reading the novel jiang cheng isnt that bad, however, The mother could die all over again
I have to disagree with you on the mother thing xP Madam Yu was a very complex character and we could clearly see her struggling in the brief moments we got to see her. Now I am not condoning her behavior towards wwx or yanli, for that matter, but she definitely was a morally grey character and I do not think she deserved to die at all.
1. No one said anything about the production being a masterpiece, we all know that the CGI is the show isn't the best and we love the show in spite of it. 2. Sometimes you say the story is good and other times you are contradicting your own point. Make up your mind please. 3. You argument isn't objective at all, your bias against the genre is clearly visible. 4. Please explain what you mean by "overrated" because, surely, the dramas here aren't rated based on how well glued the foam on some pillars was. 5. I understand that you could be put-off by the "production discontinuities" as you mentioned but, well, clearly it does not matter to thousands of us here on mdl because (even though I personally believe the production was pretty good) the sheer intensity of the story alone is enough to make us fall in love with it. 6. And to complete the quote you mentioned earlier in your comments, "Art wasn't supposed to look nice; it was supposed to make you feel something" - Rainbow Rowell. I hope that clears it up.
