Well, I would still suggest you watch the entirety of the show because as you said, you have seen 15ish episodes only and the story has barely even begun but if you even remotely enjoyed watching it then please do finish it. It's worth it ❤

when you say you want a "love story", what exactly do you expect from it? Physical display of affection and/or romantic declarations? or are you okay with sub-textual romance? Because for me and for many others, there is definitely a love story in The Untamed. It gets highlighted in later parts of the show, though. So you might have to watch the whole thing if you want to enjoy the romance to the fullest.

there's not many women characters , yes, but the women characters that are present are very much central to the story and are extremely well written and well developed.

The first three episodes barely provide an introduction to the characters and world-building. If you want to genuinely give this show a chance, I suggest you watch upto episode 7 at least. As for romance, well, the untamed beats many of the explicitly romantic shows out there in that department. I sure hope you pick it up again because there is reason why everyone is so involved in the fandom despite the show having been aired more than a year ago.

if you want to know why it is so highly rated, finish the show. Also, the ratings reflect the viewpoint of the majority so if you think you do not fit with the majority, then that is okay too.
I, however, disagree with you on the untamed being slow paced. I feel like they go through several plot points real quick. Could you give me an instance where you found the story to be particularly slow paced?
