I completely agree with the post! The Untamed is the story of Wei Wuxian and his struggles in life. Falling is love is just one aspect of it. I am glad that the characters in cql world are not defined by who they love but are bigger than their sexualities.

I have also heard that they had to rearrange the ending to pass the censorship as showing wangxian in a semi-domestic setting would be a big no. That's also why the special edition had a slightly rearranged (originally intended) ending. Not sure, though. I do love both the endings and would absolutely love to see it if they'd filmed the ending that SHOWS wangxian reuniting

well, it's up to you. I have seen my fair share of dramas and I forget about them days/hours after finishing them, no matter how great but this , THIS one drama has literally consumed my days and nights for months. I personally think this drama, more than anything else, deserves a chance. You can watch upto 7ish episodes, like the person above you did, and decide whether it's worth it or not.
