The fact that Lan WangJi names A'Yuan as 'Lan Sizhui' which actually means "to yearn for" just shows how much…
Oh, wow I had no idea about it! Lwj spent most of his life yearning for wwx. It's commendable that even though lwj was drowning in grief, he still managed to raise A'Yuan so perfectly. I love how he never let his misery and pain touch the kid. Lan Wangji best dad.
ah, mainly because the two of them are very high profile actors right now and the chances of them appearing in a drama together are miniscule atm (even lesser because of the XZ incident)
knowing that xiao zhan and wang yibo will most likely never star in a drama together again (at least not in the near future) makes me sad. Their BTS scenes were so wholesome to watch!
I actually short of have a idea, hopefully the directors can film a drama of a quest for the second generation…
I mean yeah, a spin off like that could work but I highly doubt we'd see Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan reprising their roles (for a plethora of reasons) and in my eyes, no one else but them can be wangxian xP
So I'm currently experiencing the audio drama, only on ep 5 but I think I like it best because it sticks to the…
oh I have heard a lot of good things about the audio drama. I am still on cql/novel high so I will get to it when I am uh, not thinking about wangxian every second of every day.
So guys, for those who seen all the adaptation, the drama (The Untamed), the novel (Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation/Mo…
Drama > Novel > Manga I loved the novel but there is something so beautiful about the subtlety with which the characters and their relationships (especially wangxian) have been portrayed in the drama which makes me feel extremely attached to them.
How he managed to internalise the pain of that for 16 years, poor Lan Zhan. He is the master of self-control except…
just when he was at the cusp of coming to terms with his feelings for wei wuxian, he lost him and my heart will never not hurt for lan wangji. Those 16 years without wwx must have been agonizing for him.
First episode and I don't understand what is going on. Did I miss the intro into the world and the characters…
Hi, cultivators are basically, as someone else on here put it "superheroes" in Chinese fantasy. They practice the art of cultivation which basically means becoming an immortal warrior. I am sure someone else might be able to explain it better haha. As for why the ML is hiding his identity, well the show mentioned how wei wuxian (the ML) was hated by everyone before he died. 16 years after this death, a cultivator called Mo Xuanyu performed a forbidden spell and brought the Yiling Patriarch (Wei Wuxian) back to life in order to take revenge on Mo Xuan Yu's enemies in exchange for his own life. The reason he chose Yiling Patriarch (wei wuxian) is because he was considered to be the most evil, ruthless and dauntless cultivator of his time before he died. So, now wei wuxian is back in his old body and he knows that everyone hates him and he'd be in trouble if anyone recognizes him. That's why he puts on Mo Xuan Yu's mask so as to disguise himself as Mo Xuan Yu (people did not know what adult Mo Xuan Yu looked like). As for where he is going now, well in episode one, his objective is to get as far away from the Lan Sect disciples (the kids in white robes) as possible because he is afraid that their leader would recognize him. I hope that cleared out some of the confusion!
