It's a great combination of Korean drama and western reality dating shows. A combination I never knew I would ever enjoy. Casting is also a huge part and I think they hit the jackpot with the diverse group of characters.
I`m confused, should I watch this i I already watched the drama? they keep having movies for BL serieses and I…
For this one, they just seamlessly put the episodes together so that it plays like a regular full-length movie. No new scenes. So if you want to watch the story again but in an uninterrupted format, then definitely watch it. For me, personally I enjoy watching the movie edit of the story even after I already watched the series.
Such an enjoyable show. Lighthearted, fun and exciting. Honey Lee is always awesome. I think it definitely deserved the high ratings that continued SBS' winning streak in the timeslot after Penthouse 2-Taxi Driver-Penthouse 3.
That marble round is a great example. As soon as they walked in to the play area, you expected each pair would face off. And as soon as it was revealed how the game would go, it was obvious Gi Hun, Sang Woo, Sae Byeok and Deok Soo would survive. Perhaps it's partly knowing how the actors are billed in the series. You know who to expect in the end.
But with Sae Byeok, for example, she's obviously going to survive versus this random new character that just appeared last episode. Sang Woo's selfishness and betrayal was also foreshadowed at almost every turn. And of course Gi Hun over Il Nam and Deok Soo over one of his unnamed goons. Even Mi Nyeo surviving wasn't a surprise since her story with Deok Soo hadn't wrapped yet. That's why their death on the bridge was again predictable as well.
Also, I guess I never went into the series expecting all of the main characters would make it out alive. That might be an expectation of some viewers who want a neat, everyone's happy ending. But that's obviously not what this show was ever going to be about.
The results of each round and the elimination order was pretty predictable. Joon Ho's brother being Front Man also. I think the only legit surprise was Lee Byung Hun and his casting isn't necessarily part of the writing/plot.
In what episode does he the ceo figure out his secretary has been pretending to be veronica park? Also, what did…
Episode 23/24 is when he finally finds out. And it's the best, most emotional ep of the series I think.
Also, the first secretary betrayed him by revealing his medical condition which then resulted in the Uncle becoming president of the company, if I remember correctly.
He gives an excellent performance here. He and Chae Soo Bin I think have the most difficult material and they…
Hoi Hoi is saying Ji Soo gave a great performance here because he has real life experience as a bully.
If you don't understand what ~I~ meant, I'll expand. Ji Soo and Chae Soo Bin were given the most difficult material that required nuanced performances. Both characters were multi-dimensional and required them to be able to do different emotions and situations. And both had the most growth of the entire series. So I am saying that Ji Soo and Chae Soo Bin delivered. That's it. Nothing to get twisted there.
THIS DRAMA IS A 10!!! People who rated it lower didnt watch the whole thing
The fact that there are people who did watch the whole thing and still rated it low because they didn't understand the final episodes and the entire point of thr series makes me so sad.
And stil turned out to be the most enjoyable and entertaining character of them all.
I'd rather they gave most of her screentime to the actual main 3 characters so they could actually have a story that made sense. And the way she treated Duk Gu is irredeemable for me. But you can like whoever you want of course.
