OMG same here ! I need a spin-off of Santa's character
IKR! Like after that explanation from K about secret boyfriend and stuff, they teased us with Gyeong Su's words that no records can be found about Santa. THEN WHY DID HE PRAY TO GOBLIN THAT HE DOES NOT WANT TO LOSE KYUNG YI AGAIN?! AGAIN?! just plain WHAT
So many unanswered questions, especially Santa! Honestly I stayed because I am really curious about Santa, but the last episode just gave "what's important is who you are now" WHAT?!
Chief Yong literally tried to murder Koo so it really was stupid of Koo.
I think in the last episode she said that the set-up (Koo impersonating Yong Suk) was the best way to capture both Yong and K, so I guess she's still catching the bad guys, but the series mostly focused on the movements of K.
I am here to rant. The story and all is good, still watching. But did she had to be VERY unhygienic? Disgustingly…
Hahahahahaha I really waited to finish the drama, thinking that at some point she won't be just roaming around in that trench coat and pajamas, but alas, I'm already in the 2nd to the last episode. So I think that's really the identity they intend to give her.
Interesting, but some things are just plain unrealistic. Currently on season 1, episode 9. Unless I missed something,…
Haha, Kyung Yi picked up another shoe from the dumpster before climbing up.
With the beam, same. I was so pissed that it was wide enough to crawl to. But I just realized that due to the unending barrel roll, she's not having a good balance (remember she also said, "i need to 'wits' my 'keep' in order to stay alive, meaning she's confused, scrambling 'i need to keep my wits').
And Santa. Yes, Santa is just so adorable and sweet, too sweet that he knows everything about Kyung Yi, to the point of "this is something fishy" lol.
What I hate the most is that K always outsmarts them. Because of that, it is so hard to keep on cheering Kyung Yi. Plus, does Kyung Yi needlessly be that messy? Lol
I still kept on coming back to My Name. It's rare for me to rewatch a drama, but you would appreciate My Name the most after rewatch. There are things that you might have missed the first time probably because you are not yet familiar with all the characters. Another beauty of rewatching would be noticing the hints and clues dropped in every episode about their fate, which didn't mean anything at first watch. Lastly, this is probably the best performance of So Hee, she is just so tailored for action.
Overall, the movie runs a safe story. Heart-wrenching, but there's a resolution in the end. I won't say it is bad, but sometimes a tragic end would leave a much more distressing impression. However, the ending they chose gave satisfaction to the viewer, you won't be yearning for more, and it would leave your heart and mind at peace in the end. This type of movie could calm me down because the problem was addressed clearly and the characters were given what they deserved (something I need to watch since our current pandemic situation just makes everyone anxious).
So that kid at the orphanage, at the very end, was that her true son? If so, how the heck did she find him?? Also,…
Wow I didn't realize that the person who called for the tip was his brother-in-law, not until I read this comment! I wondered what happened to the information he received that night, so he actually decided to blackmail his sister-in-law, wow truly appalling at that.
I watched this a while ago but if I always thought the kid at the orphanage at the end wasn't her son but the…
She adopted Ji Ho as her son, at least freed him from those monsters in the fishing port. In the end we could only assume that now it was really Yun Su (the mark at the back of his ear, one of the birthmarks that was repeatedly mentioned also, can be seen in the boy).
Beautiful. These stories are the heaviest, but are also the most meaningful. Stories of the past, may be history today, but during that time, it was a battle for their lives. Someday the stories may be forgotten, but hopefully the society will never forget the lessons and messages these experiences brought. May it never be repeated, ever again.
Wow thanks! I mostly finished the titles already, but other titles are definitely on my plan to watch already. Don't worry, I'll lower my expectations here. I'll take this drama lightly and won'texpect much of HSH. Thanks!
You know, I'm already having second thoughts on starting after seeing your reason is the same as mine in choosing this drama. Lol. I'm still not over Han So Hee from My Name, and I want to see her more, so I decided to explore more of her filmography. I followed this drama while it aired, but I didn't have the interest to start watching it, however I've been seeing a lot of hate towards So Hee's character (which indicates she carried the character well). Now I don't know if I should go on or just live with Han So Hee's image as Yoon Ji Woo. Haha
I love how normal the issues of the leads. These problems could happen or is even happening to any one of us, thus we often neglect these type of stories. But surprisingly, it could be an interesting plot for a drama. I just love the normality of the story (of course there are some hyperbolic injections once in a while for comedy).
Pretty decent story. I got mixed feelings about the last episode, but definitely Yi Yeon and Hong Nan made me cry. I love how intertwined all their past were.
