I forced myself to watch and finish S1 because I wanted to watch Youn Jung in S2. I still can't let go of some So Min characters, that's why I avoided this drama for the longest time. But I badly want to watch Youn Jung, that left me no choice but to understand S1 first to reach S2. I think most viewers who would protest with the "Female lead change" never understood the story. At all. I'm glad I forced myself to watch S1 first because the storytelling was superb. S2 was really the appropriate ending or direction of the story.
I swear I could have loved this drama more if not with the love triangle. The character of the 2nd male lead is unbearable (even unnecessary at times) Any recommendation for a drama that is something similar but without those unnecessary love triangle (or even just minimal)? Truth be told, I really, really like the chemistry between Min Young and Kyung Pyo. How I wish there could be a similar drama for them only.
I guess reading from the comments, one might get confused why the sentiments are so mixed. I swear, Ji Ho is just so lovable as a male lead, but Hae Jin somehow destroyed the whole mood of the story. I really don't know what's going on with the writing, but if you focus, just solely focus on the development of the main leads' relationship, the drama is quite cute and fluffy.
I'm only at episode 6, but my gawd, my blood BOILS when someone tries to do something righteous without understanding…
Okay definitely you're one of those eaten by the system cause you hated how the lead stood up (though prematurely due to her lack of reality) against injustices, rather than being angry at how engraved and deeply rooted the corruption problem was. I mean, yes it was rash to protest openly about corruption, but shouldn't we worry about how corruption was that prevalent even in the earliest days, yet a hundred or a thousand years later, we still can't eliminate or do something about it in our systems?
I was just about to comment on how totally Wookied out I am. ๐๐And I'm a lawyer too!I was excited to watch…
Haha the things we watch to detach us from our work 😂 Good for you cause you've managed to watch TWOE, cause I still can't get to watch any JCW drama even after my years of hiatus. Actually I just remembered I'm still on hiatus after seeing the trailer. But I love love love Hye Sun, so this is probably the biggest conflict I felt with her project in some time as SHS follower.
Remember Huisoo's classmate that was bullied in her previous school? It was her. Though I do not know her whole backstory, it is quite interesting to see her in the end, with the 'Jeongwon Security Guard'.
I ended the drama, it's not a big spoiler to say that:- Part 1 is a slug. Don't drop the drama, just endure the…
I'm betting this is an installment drama. There were a lot of stories they started in the series, but most of them were left open ended. It seems like an inception story for a whole cinematic universe.
I swear if they don't have a follow-up drama to this, then I would conclude that was such a novice writing.
Quite surprising for a Filipino series, honestly. Well, there's still some predictable plots, but the execution of each episode, quite an upgrade. This is my first time seeing the pair/ main leads, but they are quite good.
Of course, that's somehow a hypebole that everything ended up as murder. But then, the message still stands, that women must stand up for themselves and not for men. Murder is still murder. But the movie has a great message.
the investigation is getting nowhere. all of the suspects become the victims. bong yebun missed every important…
Haha so true. I guess the only take away is that, psychic or not, thru thorough investigation, detectives could still deduce and catch the culprits. I guess they have to dumb down the story to stretch out the plot. Since Ye Bun got the power, there are a lot of instances where one could say that they could have already revealed the killer at some point, but yeah, story first! Haha
Anybody else ever wonder why young Ji Eum speak w/ that "country" accent but adult Ji Eum doesn't? Not to mention…
First assumption: Probably because she learned different languages, thus we can say she also learned to lose that country accent.
Second assumption: Since she remembers her past life, she really did not adapt much of Ban's practices and traditions, thus she also didn't much follow the family's accent. (Plus we now know how she hated the family, especially the father, so she might have cut anything related to them, or if possible she could just erase them in her family register. But I guess she just let go of it than to bother all the complications of not having a family register, something like that)
Oh my god! I really wish more people would discover this series! Beautiful story, refreshing storyline, and most of all, I love the approach on how they set up the antagonist. Very good
I can't stop watching this! I just decided to check this out, then boom, I'm already halfway the total episodes. Lol This is the first time I've watched an unproblematic family. Even with Ye Shilan's family, it's still quite normal and common, not so over-the-top problem. I like how their relationship is developing. Love it so much
