This is probably the first drama discussion I found where almost everyone is having the same frequency haha. I love reading the threads and replies, very insightful. I don't know if it's because of the plot or if because the show did really good in presenting each characters and their backgrounds haha
I have the feeling, Park Mi-Kyung tries really hard to get everything An Soo-Young wants and diss her with that.…
Goodness, I'm still trying to understand Mi Kyung more! I'm not yet on the last episode, but after having a sneak peek on spoilers, why do I feel like Mi Kyung's will be antagonistic towards Su Young? Oh no, that's what I don't like. I really want Mi Kyung and Su Young to be besties!
This is a kind of drama I wouldn't expect to like. I feel like dropping it because it's melodrama (personal taste, does not apply to everyone), but the circumstances of the leads are very relatable.
Of all, despite Mi Gyung's description being assertive and open about her feelings, she is honestly the one character I cannot read from the get-go. In contrast, Jeong Hyun is the most innocent and optimistic of the four. He's so pure that I don't want him to end up with Su Young but rather be more like a little brother. I just wanted Su Young to be more of his guide and mentor in life, rather than a lover. On both Su Young and Sang Su, I see them having limbo on their individual statuses. These two seem to keep on breaking barriers from both sides, so it's really hard to say whether both or only one of them would successfully break the unwritten rules of the social classes.
Overall, I find these menial conflicts in the plot quite engaging. Looking forward to this every week. 👌
I just wished they cleared the "imagination" part during the early part of the movie. Honestly it was confusing at first seeing Gong Yoo also, I thought he got into an accident of some sort that he got amnesia haha (seriously waiting for that reveal haha). It only turned out that it was just the imagination of Gi Joon
Ok so the first 2 episodes is quite interesting... I think to decide whether to continue watching or not, one must watch until the second episode to fully grasp the flow of the story. Basically this will be a slow burn romance, seeing how it wanted to establish more connections between the 2 main leads. But overall, I am hinting that the romance between the leads revolves around the theme "against all odds": talks about how society draws clear but invisible lines on individual status, whether it may be through wealth or education (you'll understand the most in episode 2).
I'm at episode 8 and I really don't feel like going on. What is happening to the male lead?! And I can't believe I am now having some bias towards the 2nd ml, but I don't want him to be all good just to be ditched in the end! (We know FL will never end up with 2nd ML, so why make the 2nd ML so perfect?!) P.S the saving scenes are the events of the market people. I think that's the main thing I am looking forward every episode from 4 up. If not for these people, I really would have cursed at this already.
I hold this up quite a bit thinking it would be too explicit. I really like to watch Seo Hyun's projects, but I delayed watching this. As it turned out, I never imagined a topic about BDSM could be this wholesome. Seo Hyun's also extra hot in here 🔥
So did u watch it and of you did what did u think, cause I’m not sure if I should start this or not
I watched the first few episodes, but did not continue (I got quite busy). Now I don't know if I'm still in the mood for angsts and revenge. Gave it a pause. But it depends on what you feel though..
Finally finally finally finished this! I was actually following this story while it was airing, but I had to go offline for a while. I know the last 5 episodes felt quite rushed, but I am happy to watch the episodes where I resumed better than I expected. I was actually bracing my self for the worst of Jung Ji Eun (Ji Ho's ex-wife), but her character quite floated well. As for Hae Jin, from the most annoying 2ML to the Saint of all Saints. Lol. I know I hated the character so much, but they gave him a super anti-climactic ending. Same with Gwang Nam's. Gosh he did not deserve that ending. My very kind boy Gwang Nam. On Madam Yoo's, it was quite expected, but at least it still gave me a little, tiny, bit of surprise there. Well the revelation on Sang Eun's part was for convenience, I guess.
Anyway, I didn't really expect this to be over the top drama, I just like this kind to pass time, or to entertain, cause I admit, the main leads' chemistry was second to none!
OMG yes, I don't think I have come across any drama yet, that has the biggest cliffhangers as this one does. But…
Haha honestly I don't know if I'm feeling right, cause this is the first airing drama I had for months. I've given up waiting long time ago, but damn short clips of the couple are irresistible haha! But I think this is the first drama I've come across where all the reasons to drop would pool around the middle, while all the reasons to love would be at the end and beginning. This is just insane
The show is so simple, yet we can't stop thinking deeper and deeper!

I never knew this existed until a short clip passed by my Youtube recommendations.
But it depends on what you feel though..

Everyone in LIC seems like the villain or the problem in every other kdramas haha
