Now I'm quite sure of the purpose of Hae Jin, he is the main 'conflict' of the story. He exists to complicate the relationship of the FL and ML. If one would think, all other factors, ex-wife, demanding mother-in-law, etc, would make the whole story ordinary. Inject Hae Jin and the complications of his chaebol life, now that's something of a complicated mess. It's like he's always the reason why the story gets complicated. Ugh, their show, their choice, but that's the way to describe it perfectly, endless childish problems 🤡 I hate it that I love it that I hate it again that I don't know haha
Anyways, I love how the crappy writing of character Hae Jin made everyone watch the same show. Lol. (That's so unusual, seeing most comments just agree with each other, is this MDL? Kidding 🤣)
The show mastered the art of cliffhangers damn good.
They would stuff a lot of anooying/triggering contents in the middle of the episode, then place the best scenes before and after. You got to lose shit during an episode, but you can't afford to drop the next one. I swear that is brillant

I can't believe they could make the character Hae Jin more trashy than he currently is. 🤦♀️ I feel like he exists just to annoy the viewers lol I can't believe there will come a time that I would hate a SML. I usually sympathize with SML and hope he could also have his own happy ending, cause they usually are more timid and understanding. This time, it's a total opposite.

So far for the first half, romance is mostly between the ML and FL, we just don't know about the second half if the presence of the SML and SFL would greatly affect the relationship of the ML and FL.
I'm halfway and I am taking this drama really slow, not because it is boring, but because I am enjoying bit and every bit of the cases. It is just so unusual for me to see civil cases used in the drama, it would always be murder, theft, or something criminal with so many emotions. I can't stress it enough, the Court proceedings are just *chef's kiss* 🤌 I'm not really into the romance part, I find Jun Ho a bit off (or I just don't understand when and where did his feelings start, or maybe I just did not pay much attention haha). We really can't have similar likes, but the episodic cases are a joy to watch for me.
