You misinterpreted. He's even known for having had a lot of women in the past and gets extremely offended when her bestie calls him gay to tarnish his reputation. But I'll leave it up to you as I don't think we'll reach an understanding on this
that's not what he meant. He meant that he wouldn't discriminate even if someone were to be gay, or of any different religion or race: not that that's his preference in dating
Speaking of the actors: The FL was actually really good!! I didn't even know this actress (very very pretty as well) wow...I am a fan of the Wang Xing Yue since The Double but clearly, I wouldn't have seen his best acting if I missed this drama. He was so impressive here and in literally all his dramas I have seen so far, be it modern or historical..how the hell does he act so mature for his age? Gosh
Speaking of the drama: THE CHEMISTRY! Sorry I know there are more important things to talk about but THEY HAD TOO MUCH CHEMISTRY OMG WHYYYYY why weren't we given more glimpses of her letting her feelings loose? He was always the one having to drop his facade and I really wanted her to be the one losing it at times too :((( One of my favourite scenes was definitely that "Are you doing this to spite me?" in front of the whole jury who really couldn't anymore with these two and practically evacuated ahahah I don't mind second leads but if you were going to choose the ML and the final lead, YOU DON'T GIVE ME ALL THOSE SCENES WITH THE SL INSTEAD OMG! I guess it was good because I coudln't guess who she would end up with.
I think it would be cool to make a sequel about Zhang Zhe finding love, and have Bai Lu and Ling He play supporting…
so true though, these sound like great ideas. I guess ZZ has his continuation as an upgrade in The Double ahaha I watched this kinda to see him so it's a pity. I was quite invested in the FL's story with ZZ I got to say, I wonder if it's just because I like the actor or if it's because I did not find that kind of violence from the ML towards her appealing
There are many things that the male lead of The Double would not have accomplished without Jiang Li's intelligence.…
oh you read the novel! Lucky :) I was so sooo impressed by how she was written! She was human despite her perfections, resilient despite the adversities, and she brought justice WITH the help of the duke which is admirable because in real-world collaboration is what brings you towards the right path and men and a women compensate each other whether we accept it or not
I recommend The Double (2024) because you're missing out on the strongest FL we've been fed in the last years :) It's cool that this article open the path to a lot of recommendations from the comments too that have been great ones so far
OMG HE'S SO HOT GOSH WHY IS EVERY SINGLE EXPRESSION OF HIM SO HOT WHY WHY WHY WHERE WAS HE IN MY 16 YEARS OF KDRAMAS WHAT'S WITH THAT VOICE OMG WHY SO HOT
Cute but a bit too fast paced I think.Makes sense since it's only ten episodes but it could be twelve. Also the…
funny you mentioned Daphne because apart from their physical resemblance, she literally has the most eligible bachelor helping her find a husband so it's ironiclly an appropriate comparison ahah
