7 seems fair to me. The filmmaker review highlighted makes absolute sense because the cinematography and the acting of some cast members were what held the drama together. So much as to forget the problematic script. It's a matter of perspective and what you prioritise, so for example I prioritise the writing generally when watching dramas, this is why I expressed the disappointment because of many problematic aspects in that area.
