I didnt even like the webtoon after a while so I kept watching this because I knew it in the second episode, which was my first episode, that they wouldn't follow that. I think the connection between the leads here is much deeper than in the webtoon as well so no comparison with SU because these two have an actual deep story, which DM and JP had but PHR forgot about lol

I agree with each and everything you said. I also think that the pacing is great. They are not dragging misunderstandings, the main leads all know what they feel and took actions immediately and I love the side characters and I feel bad for SJ and the girl bestie but I also think they could have made them an item instead of making a triangle

I like the main couple too dw. They are what 17 ? 18? They are immature and that's very normal, especially for someone like Su Ho who is an orphan without much human interaction. I like SJ but he deserves a girl who loves him back. I think the complaints are from people who enjoyed the webtoon. I didn't so I didn't even want to start this drama but it's quite light-hearted and fun

The comfortable beauty part makes sense and I think Koreans prefer the generic looking beauty more than the exotic / sexy / unique in women. But the whole science thing ain't it in this context, at least, it is not the full picture. It's a Kpop industry and marketing thing that has very less to do with science and more with business and money, aspects which are very dark in real life and not rainbow and unicorn like in Start-Up
