I completely feel you because I lost my friend around Suho's age too from suicide and she had move away feom the city just a year prior to the unfortunate event. This is why I relate to SH very much. It was around the time the song "See you again" came out and I was dying inside for 3 years because like SH, I only had only couple of friends I trusted and loved with my whole heart. This is why it pains me to see their friendship broken like this becuase my other friend had also chosen love over friendship at some point for a long time. So I wish SH and SJ could heal together

It is in fact still a mystery to me. I said JK made her choice but there was none to be made, she doesn't even look at SJ. I wonder why people wouldn't wish for SJ to have all the happiness in a different form than linking him to JK.

Aww I was wondering about what you guys think about the fact that this was probably the foundation of the drama being set and I think from now on the real problems will come: 1. Bullying and makeup, 2. Story behind suicide and the connection to SH's dad 3. Reconnected friendship between SH and SJ 4. Jk's dream and struggles against family to become a makeup artist 5. Soojin's dad using violence and her struggles with expectations and competitions and so on 6. A fight between JK's sis and SH'a dad 7. SJ's life as a model or idol

People dont seem to notice either SH or JK's suffering and because of this there are many calling them toxic, a lable I am seeing way more often than needed, when all they have ever been are two vulnerable people hiding their sorrow behind a mask of stoicism one and makeup the other. They saw each other for who they are, discovered each others' sorrows and embraced them. I understand empathising with other characters but dismissing their pain and forcing our opinion on a couple who gravitate towards each other is so strange to me. For example, for me Start Up had ended when DM didn't care about asking anything about letters to HJP. She had made her choice, it's her love life so nothing we can do about. All I wanted and was angry about is for the writer who kept playing with the audience till the finale. But here the production team made everything clear: JK made her choice. Shouldn't we appreciate she is not playing with Sj's feelings? For such a light-hearted drama, it sure caused a massive online debate.

Yes i understand what you are saying but they don't need to be all each other have. My man is my breathing space and my friend. Good but he is not my only friend nor he is my only breathing space. After falling for JK he didn't become dependent on her, he started opening up to other friends as well and to the world. She also has a support system that is not only only based on SH. I don't see why the fluffy love story they are having is taken to be toxic or overanalized as such

Hmm nothing in the drama indicates he can't have both and even both in one. I am still here waiting for both MLs happiness but what I care about the most is JK's happiness and she seems to know better than us where she is the happiest

I thought JK was shallow in the webtoon and didn't overanalise. I felt like at some point she did love SJ, that was my impression but it is just my feeling because I did have feelings for a guy I had entered a relationship like that with and I did love him, even for a day. It's personal to experiences chingu so I don't know what happens after in the webtoon because I dropped it
