idk why it took me 3 years to watch this, or how i finally got to watch it.
at first, i didn't like. the plot was boring, everything was stupid for me.
from episode 4-5 until 16 it was pure art.
i saw people saying they didnt like the ML's wife's death. meh, i suppose it was forced? i was expecting her to live some years but being very sick and then finally dying. vut it was ok. i cried, their moment eith "sleep, we'll talk tomorrow" and then "i love you" broke me. it was such a beautiful lvoe between them, and i'm sorry for changho for losing his wife, but im seeing this as necessarily evil - if she didnt die, he would continue to fight by law against choi doha.
and let me tell you, he did such a great role in this. i hate him from my core.

i was happy changho killed him - the corruption was impossible to break, choi doha was literally like a god, you could not stop him cause everybody was his man. it was truly deserving to kill him using the wter that killed his wife and other lives.

the reason i actually like this drama is because it shows us the law is nothing when fighting with big names. you can't do anything to them, but they will od everything to you.

the plot was not as strong as i think they wanted it to be - i was expecting big mouse to be the tarot guy, i was expecting choi doha to be the one that was involved with the proffesor killing, it wasnt really that unexpected. even with (i forgot his name) the psycopath i was expecting something cause they gave him a meaning in the drama, so i thought "why do they make us sympathize with a mass murderer that should die but he literally is not killed already??" - he wasnt a real criminal, he just took the blame for money. poor him, he went to jail, and even died for nothing - his reason for doing all this was dead and he didnt even know, his siblings didnt give a samn about him... he was such a pitiful character..

i would have like to the the true psycopath - the chairman' son. pity he didnt play a role in the drama other than being a devil that was saved by his father...

also... they go to see vsiitors and there arent guards with them in the room? they make calls? mab, thats really.. idk? not believable.. or idk, maybe the warden let them? but still stupid. also, there were some plots that were never ended - like the murder of the dr's wife
on another side, i like the warden (when he was a warden) so much!! his role was so entertaining, going from a high position ruler by elites to going to prison because of the said elites?! AND ALL THIS TIME HE WAS IN CAHOOTS WITH BIG MOUSE?! ihhh insane plot twist was that ngl.
also i liked the fact that jihun had his happy ending - he wasnt a good guy, but he truly wasnt as bad as the rest. i actually liked him, even though he was a coward, a traitor and a schemer, he was fun to watch.
i was happy jerry didnt die, but after he came "back to life" i didnt care as much for him as i did when i thought he died.

per total, i gave the drama an 8.5 mostly because it showed how the people in power can do anything and the simple humans cant stop them. they wont even try to do something not even when seeing the truth. its something thats literally happening now and we are still not doing nothing.

i suppose juhui' words were true "won't you feel dispair when u show the truth and the world does nothing about it?" or something like that
also i dont really understand why they called the drama big mouth instead of big mouse. he was big mouth for what? 1-2 episodes, and then he gained power. even though it was big mouse's power, he used it for his gain. also, he did not just talk big without delivering results - he was delivering results. he literally was saying a thing and you could watch it happen.
he wasnt a big mouth anymore. he was a better mouse than big mouse ever was if you ask me... i was expecting in the engd or something for him to come and say "i am big mouth" or whatever to mark the transition from big mouse to big mouth, but meh? i think they just came with the title to make it more unexpected but its not that great.

Im back after watching episodes 11-12. What can i say? Just meh, a little dissappointing

From now on i shall think of the first 8 episodes as a separate entity - cause they were peak, now we have... a regular drama. In fact, i will see the first 7 episodes and untill min 15:37 from episode 8 as another movie - my favourite movie.

The plot now? Its... all over the place. Why do we get BL vibes between the ML and the brother? I really don't think the tension between was neccessary - more than that, they are making it seem like ML is after FL just to get revenge on brother... literally destroyed the feeling we built until now for them :/

Also, i saw many people in the comment talking about FL - am i the only one who doesn't really like her role? The role, not the fl (i think her role was better in embrace in the dark night or whatever the title is or queen of darkness). To me she is just... there, to make the ML shine. I mean, even when they have scenes together - like kissing, hugging, i feel like the camera focuses on him - he is the one that kisses her, he is the one needing her - he is the main plot there. Not complaing, i love his role, but i feel the FL is bland comparing to his role. He really does nothing - to me she is just stupid. Bro, you both are dying if you don't bond, why are you talking about feelings now? And really, shes really mad at him not feeling love and asking him indirectly to love her somehow or she won't bond with him..? Where is the brain?

For now, all i like is Cui Yuxin and the second couple - it's not bad, and i feel like it depicts the relationship between a yin and a ren - a yin doesn't need a ren as much a ren needs a yin, and that's why we see the girl obssessed with the brother, and the brother rather coldly and dominati g. At first i thought he would be a ren, but i suppose this is more entertaining (i hope we get to see a scene where the girl has enough and dominates him as a ren should!!!!)

For me now the drama is not a 10 star, and i feel like the rating it has now is maybe just. 10 stars for the fiest episodes, 7 for the plot we have now. Feels fair

yes, i think for me their kisses are top notch - even better than in full length dramas, or EVEN BETTER THAN MY KISSING KING DAI GAO ZHENG (did i really said that oof)
maybe we should shut our brains off and enjoy the tension between leads (still mad, we could have have an man who years and then earns, but we got octopus, dragons, marriage, meh)

the brother is just some weirdo for me - i was expecting more from his character tbh (like in the first episode when ML sees FL for the first time he just watches, even after knowing theres something wrong) and then we just see him as a good brother that kills everyone to save his sister just for him to have her marry a person he chose... meh he is just idk not having a proper role

yep, but i don't think they have enough time in the drama for strong backstories so we will get some poor excuses more kisses and maybe some explications. thats usually the way with these dramas. i hope tho' they get better but from what i saw in the trailer - the dragon scene... i dont think so

i think they reffer the 24 eps as full length (40 mins or so ep). ive seen it on youtube sometimes, instead of having episodes of 15-20 mins, they merge two episodes. so we wither have 40eps of 20 mins each or 24 of 35+mins each

I loved the first 8 episodes.

I really like the hospital arc - even with octopus (i saw it more like a pig tho). The kisses were so hot and so needed, i liked the fact that he doesn't calm down very quickly (did you see the 2 Min kiss on clock???) and the scene on the train?! Her crawling away from him and him crawling to her? Never in my life have i seen something more hot and alluring. And again, im a dark romance reader.

Cui yuxin brings life to his character - he makes the psycopath seems almost humane ( i have his arrest scene on my phone and i fangirl over his smirk and his crazyness when he sees her for the first time)

BUT... and i am really sad to say this - episodes 9 and 10 lost their charm to me. Ofc i still watched it, but the feeling was not as potent as in the first 8 episodes.

Listen to me, ive been watching cdramas fror 5-6 years i dont remember, and in the last year ive watched more mini/short dramas that i can count. Im watching them on youtube on speed 2.15 to see as many in a day as i can.

This is the first drama since zhang chi's BDSM one to make me watch in normal speed. And this drama really made me not mad at watching it at this speed. Because it was worth it. Or at least the first 8 episodes were

Cause let me ask you.. what on earth happened? God, ep 9,10 were embarassing.. literally no sense - brother drugs his sister to make her marry a ren in a competion, and ML appears there after telling her shes free and she agrees to marry him but not bond with him even though she knows they both need it to survive and she hides from her brother who her husband is and we find the brother is a ren maybe(i think hes a ren bcs the girl said hes about to erupt or something not sure and he was looking at her with the same hunger ML look at FL) and then we find out the brother and ml have a past? Bruh, that gives me me bl vibes (LETS NOT talk about mls bicep ok??? He can choke me in between those sexy arms istg).

So as i said, at first i gave the drama 10 stars review, but now i feel it deserves like an 7-8. It really makes no sense, they had a scene, they could have continued with that. Now we already have a new plot - it was too fast, AND LET ME TELL YOU THE MARRIAGE PLOT WAS SO .. unwanted.

I wished her dream was reality - thats what i was expecting from the drama. For her to hide in her brothers home and ML to come visit her. A plot so much better :/

And let me ask about the girl with black nails? Why tf would she believe ML would choose her instead of FL? I mean he almost killed her in the train, she also saw them kissing and then she thought he wants her. Embarassing... and the ren the brother chose for FL? He is a fighter, groomed to fight and he loses to ml? Who was a child imprisoned and then a fugitive and then a doctor...? Really?


I hope the next episodes get back on track, but i don't think this will happen. They script writers had it - the plot it was gold, and they made it something basic and boring. Something i can see in the other 37466383 short dramas out there. I don't think we will ever get the excitement we got from the first episodes again, but i hope im wrong.

(For you to understand how much i love the drama, how much i love cui yuxin's role - last night (i just saw 6 episodes, SO I DIDNT SEE THE HUNGER FROM EP 7) when praying before bed i asked God for a love like his - nothing less - to be wanted like air, like life itsself. Cause thats how i see him feeling about her - shes his reason to live, to breath cause shes all he sees. That's what i wish for.

now im just mad people are giving low ratings on this drama, especially since the first episodes were so good? i mean maybe the only downside is the fact they are not serious in important scenes (like flirting meanwhile the rens are on a killing spree) but still 7.5 is by far a bad rating

i think they are asociating it with omega verse because they did not encounter yet the esper/guide trope. i mean, i encountered it in manhwas, so im not an expert on it, but i loce that trope much better than omegaverse sincer it focuses on need(the esper needs the guide to live, the se*ual part comes as a bonding rather than just sex) and omegaverse is just lust and instinct (which is not bad imo). i hope they explore this plot more 🤭 and with awesome cast like this one

NEVER IN MY LIFE, and listen carefully, NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I SEEN SOMETHING BETTER. JUST LISTEN, ok? Been watching dramas, kdramas, shorts, BEEN READING BOOKS, manhwas, mangas, donghwas, dark romance, dark dantasy - but this, this drama right here, is a MASTERPIERCE.

The plot is nothing unknown - just the names are changed a little, instead of esper and guide, we have afinitty a and b. Same thing. are there other dramas with this plot? Not that i know. AM I HAPPY FOR THIS? Yes god. It is the dest depiction of the need the affinity b feels, the ML is divine.

In the forst episode, the scenes with him being arrested? I will have wet dreams with his expressions years from now. He did such a good job playing a psychopath!!! Sont get me started at the mail box scene - even i was thinking whats wrong with him. His expression when he looks ar her - as he wants to devour her and worship her at the same time is what i need in my life.

The plot?! Amazing. At first i was like "too much plot, i need them to kiss" - and then BOOM THE PLOT WAS PLOTTING. Insany good, ngl. A little too much comedy i suppose - i mean they were not in much of a hurry with ren going berserk...

Insane, the FL is literally perfect for this role - mainly cause she always has many and hot kiss scenes and shes not afraid of them.

The obssession is to die for. Is all i want in life. If a man doesnt love me like this psychopath loves his darling, Im losing in life. Don't get me started on the kisses?????? Gosh he ate her. He worships her. He omfg hes divine. Hes kissing her like hes been water deprived for days, and he just found a fountain.

Insane chemestry.

AND DONT GET ME STARTED? 40 episodes? Did i see that right? I can die happily now - after i finish this. Never before. I am obssessed, dont get me started how many times i've rewatched episode 1. I hope to see him more as a psychopath, cause he is really hot - and he makes the dark romance reader in me blush.

This drama for now is all i could have asked. Waiting for the next episodes, i hope and i pray they don't dissapoint.

I DONT KNOW WHO WROTE THE SCRIPT, and who filmed the drama, but my respects. Let me bow to them, for bringing something i've been craving for years.
