I am at episode 7 and they are doing everything and anything but work? The guys are being lovey dovey from ep 2 so what exactly is the plot of this series I still can’t figure it out. They mentioned Gun’s friend betrayed him and that lasted 3 sec and then completely forgotten. Does the series get better or should I just jump to ep 12 and watch it and call it a day? 😅

My personal take: BL to majority means romance is the central theme. I think the only time people got behind the idea that romance might be secondary is for Manner of Death and Triage, a thriller & suspense and a fantasy genre, but for setting such as school, university, and office watchers immediately assumes the series will jump into the romance wagon instantly so when an office romance drama that actually is trying portray "somewhat" realistic an office worker's work life and love life it subverts from what we usually watch or expect in bls and many find it jarring or as many has stated in this comment section boring. Our brain has been wired with the regular BL tropes, and when the series takes a U-turn from those tropes it's like the series is breaking the "Formulated BL Rules' for example I saw many people jokingly complaining about Pat and Jeng's bed scene- many thought the following day Pat will wake up either hugging Jeng or both will wake up with close face proximity and stare at each other lol but when none of those happened it disappointed people because we are used those cliche tropes. I totally understand that people watch shows to escape from reality and dive into the fictional world that gives them a serotine boost but there are 100s of bl like that so I don't know why when out of those 100 shows 1 show decides to take a different, a bit slower and a bit realistic and a bit mundane, approach people don't like it and judge very harshly. But anyway, I wrote way too much than I intended but I do have a lot to say but I will do that after the series ends we still have a long way to go. For now, I share your feelings I am enjoying this series way more than I expected and hopefully, my feeling for this series will remain the same or may even grow depending on what future episodes hold.

People are criticising a 20 year old newbie kid for literally everything from his acting to his looks. Its sad that some of the people who are commenting negatively are double of my age and I am 2 year older than the actor himself.

This is a office drama foremost and romance is 2nd priority this was the way novel is written. In the novel Pat didn’t even had a crush on manager Jeng when they first met. In between chap 20 to 30 Daddy Jeng realises he likes Pat. It takes even longer for pat to realise he likes Daddy. It is a very slow burn when it comes to romance.

Of course his back is hurting: from visiting our dreams and doing some fun activities 🤭🫣

They were not shading at anyone though! They were talking about the general situation of the current Thai bl industry. It's sad that people focused on the wrong points not the real issue that the director wanted to let viewers know about. People tend to forget it was P'Tee who did tharntype and it is also his biggest regret because he saw the toxicity of the fandom like no other had seen before in that period, though nowadays its a common occurrence, but yeah more than fans its the actors, producers, and everyone behind the scene of the BL industry knows the dark truth but fandoms composed of younger people don't want to acknowledge that part or just not enough educated about this issues.

I understand your point but Chot getting sick wasn't major to the plot but them working as it is office drama foremost is a major plot and it is people's expectation of what should be the prioritized exposition for this drama is wrong.

Yes people here are very confusing. Give broad details they complain its bad writing give one line detail they complain for not giving enough details. As the quote “people are never satisfied"
