This is a classic for me. I watched a long time ago, but I remember it being enjoyable and fun. Great acting; I felt like a fly on the wall. Exactly what a drama supposed to do.
I am at Episode 5, but I am losing faith in this drama. I really wanted to love this drama. I kept it on my list to watch. But I am disappointed; It reminds of Hometown Cha Cha but with no chemistry between the two main characters.
Both leads are great actors in their own right, I like Shin Hye Sin, but I am not feeling nor buying into the connection there. I am usually a sucker when it comes to Romcoms. I just don't see the romance in this one. There is no spark.
Love is an emotion that must felt not told. You can show all the snippets of how cute they grew up, you can twist the stories whichever way. Because of the lack of chemistry, the story feels, regrettably bland. Sort of like eating , and trying to enjoy a sugarless cake. It just does not feel or taste right.
It was just like fine wine... I sipped on it until the end and now that my glass is empty; I want more.
It was all that and then some. I love the old town vibe, the empathy, the caring and being there for others. The selflessness and the depth of the relationships.
Very well done. Acting was superb. I am always enjoy Oh Jun Se and Kim Hae Sook's performance. Both the Leads and supporting cast were fantastic. While it did not have the fairy tale ending that I prefer, it was a beautiful, well written and and wonderfully executed. I highly recommend it.
maybe put a spoiler warning on your comment bro, I'm not done watching yet 🥲 but I actually think your first…
Hi @misscookies13- I don't disagree with you. I can definitely see your point. This is not a right or wrong point of view. I think we all relate to things differently.. I think it's a good thing. :)
Have you checked out youtube SBS World? Or dramacool.
@NikBok Thank you for all your help :) While DramaCool looks like it has all the episodes, it is littered with Ads... It's so bad, I can't click to start episode 1 .

Oh my, so sorry about the spoiler. I am not sure what I was thinking ; I hope I did not totally spoil it for you!
Regarding the close friend falling in love thing, I am not saying I don't like it nor that it is impossible, but in the case of LND, I find it extremely improbable because of the fact they practically grew up almost in the same household.
With that said, I lovingly and gullibly accepted it alit all 😇
I love JSM and this drama did not disappoint. A bit unrealistic, come on how often does old time friends fall in love like that? I mean they were practically brothers and Sisters.
That aside, I love the connection between the ML and FL. I especially like how much he cared and how deeply he cherished her. The scene when he found out that she had cancer was so heartfelt. I could feel his pain.
The playful banter between the two was both sweet and hilarious. As fluffy the love story might have been, I loved it. It was sweet, caring, passionate and heartfelt.
I also loved the supporting characters. Especially the love and hate relationship between the moms of the ML and FL.
To me this was like comfort food to the soul. I rated it at 9.

I am dropping it.

Our current world can use more of that.
Well done!

Anyway, we can agree to disagree on this one :)
