I've been here since there were only a handful of comments, and I try to visit this page everyday. You can probably see me everywhere if you scroll lol (im busy i swear)
Anyway, recently there's been a huge inflow of users in this comment section, and with that has come more people going on about the KHY vs Jisoo discussion. It's a discussion that has come up multiple times in the past few months, so I'm going to list a few things that you should think about before you make a comment about it.

- This cast will most probably be an ensemble rather than your ML - FL drama only. The director and screenwriter have worked on SKY Castle before this, and many people thought the focus on that would be on 2 or 3 characters, but the focus was on way more. Jisoo and Haein will play the love interests, however, that is not to say that the other characters will not be focused on.
- We don't know anything about KHY audition. Did she audition for the main role? Did she audition the role she's playing? Did she audition at all? We don't know. (I think she was offered the role - but I couldn't find any sources) All we know is that Jisoo auditioned for her role, and beat multiple multiple actresses.[Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaiuFrNu2bY&t=33s] (She may have been chosen for her talent, her popularity, or both.) This is all the information about auditions, please do not assume any more, and end up getting angry in the process.
- To the Jisoo fans/BLINKS, as one myself, do realize that not everyone here knows about Jisoo. In fact, many people here may not even be avid Kpop listeners. We know that Jisoo has worked hard for an acting career since she joined YG, but many people don't, and perhaps don't even care. Realize that Jisoo's sudden appearance as a lead is an anomaly, and that there is nothing normal about it. It is only obvious that KHY fans would be upset, given how more people here know about the difficulties she's gone through before finally bagging a few big roles.
- To the KHY fans, I realize you guys don't like that a new idol actress got a role, that seems to be bigger than what KHY got. However, as I said before, for all we know she might not even have auditioned for the role. The director and screenwriter have worked with here before, and it is possible that they believed that she would pull of the character of Kye Boon Ok the best.
- Finally, to everybody currently angry, realize that you getting angry isn't achieving anything. If you continue behaving like this, you're going to leave this drama unsatisfied, while Jisoo and KHY are probably going to leave friends.

This has become quite the long comment, so I'll end it quickly. Let's try to understand where everybody is coming from a little bit yeah? Don't attack anyone. Don't fuck around behind your keyboard and call someone names. If you truly believe something is hate (some of you need to change your criteria for that though) report it. Don't say anything. If it truly is hate, many people will report it, and it'll be removed. Not completely fool proof, but at this point, its the best way to go.

I don't think that their opinion was neutral either. It was biased towards KHY, and that's obvious because they clearly are big fan of KHY. They're obviously not the biggest fan of BP, given that they didn't know what the fandom was called, (but it's not as common as you might think it is - not to mention you would not know if you don't listen to them on yt), but they could've just been a casual listener. Don't think they can call themselves a fan, but also don't think they were hating. Like I said, they started defensively, because they were sure to get hate thrown on them if they hadn't. I completely agree that arguing about cast ruins the drama, and part of stopping that argument includes understanding why people might be upset. Saying that anyone sceptical about Jisoo's role is hating, is not the way to go. And anyway they did say that they hope that Jisoo pulls her role off, so can't really call that hate can you? Because this drama has such a power cast, such arguments will inevitably come up. Unless something is blatantly lying or spewing hate, I think we should give the user the benefit the doubt. It would definitely help the environment of this comment section don't you think?

I really don't know what your source for saying "it's human psychology" was. Yes, they started off with something defensive, and that's completely understandable if you're going to be saying which you're sure is going to piss off a bunch off people. Hell, it did piss off a bunch of people, and it looks like that starting line just made it worse. This mentality, that the moment you criticise someone, you're hating on them, I have seen nowhere except the K-pop community. On the internet, its an even more messed up mentality to have.

Fascinating how one comment can cause a bunch of people to comment about the same issue. (⊙ˍ⊙)

I feel like calling you a hater is not justified, but I do think you're arguments are flawed here. You're assuming that Jisoo landed the character over KHY. There's no source for this, so honestly you're getting angry over nothing. Also this is my opinion, but from the music videos she's acted in (Spoiler, I'm Different) You can't tell anything at all. She was onscreen for only a little while, and her performance in that wasn't bad either. Not to mention its been 7 years since both those songs came out - I'm assuming she's improved over that time. Like someone else said let's leave the criticism for after the drama airs. This happened a few weeks ago in the comment section, and there's no point bringing it up again.

This seems interesting. Having an evil doctor who acts mysterious (as opposed to the doctors who want a higher position in most other kdramas) could be interesting. I think Signal had an evil doctor too?(It may have been Tunnel I can't remember. But either way that character was one of my favorites.) I can't wait to see how this turns out!

Exactly! She had the mind of a 12 year old, yet she was doing something that required her to be way more smart. And then she started blaming the ML, FL, and basically everyone. Super frustrating.
