Well yes, some aspect of them is happy (CLOY, Doctor Stranger) but not happy happy yk? Well I haven't watched a lot of nk dramas, so maybe im not fully qualified to comment on it.
ahh, I wouldn't want a sad ending :( A few of them are good (extracurricular for example) but happy endings leave me more satisfied. But then again, the drama involves nk, chances of a happy ending are slim.

Really I think, instead of thinking of it as a stereotype, it's better to think of it as a pattern. Is completely judging off a pattern wrong? Absolutely. Being hard-stuck on a stereotype is harmful to everyone. That being said, using patterns to predict is something completely normal. For example, saying 'Idols are usually bad actors, and so I know that Jisoo will be a bad actor as well' is an incorrect statement, but saying 'Many idols don't perform well, and therefore Jisoo might not either' is, as I view it, a completely reasonable thing to say. Just as long as you're willing to change that if you're presented with new information.

I don't know if I qualify as a hardcore stan (I'm definitely not a casual listener), but I like to believe that I would criticize the drama normally. I guess there would be some bias in my criticism, given that I do prefer Jisoo the most out of all BP members, but I don't think I'll say anything too outlandish. Also, I just wanted to say that not all hardcore stans take criticism as hate, so some of them definitely won't attack you if you criticise the drama. (some of them will, that's a sad truth)

I actually find her to be quite interesting, she delves a bit more into her more serious side in the documentary, so I can see why you would think that. Still, In the end I think that a person's acting skills can't be judged based on their own personality, especially because many people use acting as a way to temporarily adopt a different personality.

Yeah this is kind of what happens when you mix idols and dramas. The word 'hate' is thrown around too easily by fans who can't take negative criticism. Jisoo IS going to have to be really good at this to compare to the rest of the cast. As a fan, I'd like to believe that she can perform at that level, but I won't deny that she might not, and that she could've gotten the role solely because she was an Idol. Still hoping for the best though.
