I think this is one of the better BL shows now. Although the plot is a bit overused but the acting is much more natural.

People will call me insensitive too but the 2 week wait for finale is becoming the norm in Pinoy BLs. They think its building up the hype or whatever but its not. Hello Stranger did it, My Day had a two week gap between ep10 and 11. Gameboys had 3 week gap bet ep 10 and 11 and another 2 week gap before the finale. My extraordinary did it last week, and now this. I know there were 2 storms these past 2 weeks and ok id give it to Gaya sa Pelikula. But what is the excuse of the other shows? Thats the reason i didnt bother finishing My Day and will not be finishing My Extraordinary.

Its not getting bad rating because its sad, it is because it was poorly planned and executed.

Up to now, i still dont know why this is titled 'My Extraordinary'. Can you describe anything extraordinary about the love between Ken and Shake? Is the love portrayed between the 2 enough to move heavens and earth just to bring them together? In the first place their love was just beginning - they didnt even have label for it yet, heck they were mostly denying what they feel for each other before they died. And yet during the last 2 episodes Ken was saying things as if they were madly deeply inlove for years. What they have is a beginning of a puppy love at best. Had they given the relationship 2 more episodes to show that they indeed really love each other, then that may tragic end and afterlife may have been more believable and relatable.

The problem with this series is they used unimaginative cliches and overused tropes to create unnecessary drama. Maybe they want to win acting awards, but what it did instead is just annoy the viewers.

One of the sad and tragic BL - UMWA has gotten a fairly good rating. Im not saying that show is good, but it is somehow more satisfying than this.

EXACTLY! I think those who defend this series doesnt really understand the gravity of the actions for the 2 women in Ken's life. Thats what make it so frustrating. They should have at least showed Sandee and the mother taking responsibility for their actions. Sandee bringing the 2 together in afterlife??? Really?

OMG i wanted to really like it sana but its so konyo, kaya i cannot. I mean, they are parehong so cute and im so marupok too, pero my gosh gulay i really kennat.

But seriously, i dont know why the decision to make Chen speak like a 14 year old girl, and yes, i still watch this because of him, i just feel like i could have enjoyed this better if he speaks normally. I know a lot of people find his character cute but imagine a wave of teenage gay boys in the philippines speaking like that??? It wont be as cute as you'd expect. Yes, i may be poor and i may not be living in a super posh village where speaking conyo is the norm but the way he speaks is still too much for me.

I envy you cause im not sure if i can even stand to watch it again. I hate dropping series midway (like i dod to my day, amore, boyband) but i really really cant stand this anymore.

Sandee being a shitty person is super annoying (i dont even care if she sees ghost) but the actress' acting and the crying and the pretend vulnerability is just way too much to see every episode with 20min runtime. Wait, is the title My Extraordinary referring to her since she has extraordinary powers? Is she the real star of the show?

Also, how can they write the mother's character like that - she pretends to be strongwilled and yet she let herself be manipulated by that little shit.

Then if Ken is not dead, that twist will only make the show worse that it already is. Pulling a uturn in the end wont make a good reveal.

Making Sandee nuts is the only way to save this

Oh god, this show has started so strong, and then fell so hard on its face in the last 2 episodes. Episode 6 in particular is just a disaster and so hard to watch - it is pretty obvious and cheaply executed that the main actor is now playing a ghost.

I had doubts with that Sandie character since the beginning and now i can finally confirm that she is one of the most annoying characters ever written. Everytime she is on screen i just want to pry my eyes out. And the mother??? Shes a motherf****$.

Utara, like you, so far i find the series a bit overrated. However, I dont find Judit annoying, in fact she is my fave in it, but for me the series started out too strong, and then it kinda fizzled after. It is way better than a lot of the other pinoy BL out there (ahem hello stranger, MyDay, saKristan) but i dont think it sets the gold standard. Not yet. For me so far Gameboys is still better.

Past few episodes has become an unending rehash and recap and reuse of old footages obviously to extend the time. The finale was supposed to the climax but i end up almost hating the episode because its rehash and montages every few minutes. There is such thing as overuse and overkill. The delivery of Tau speech for example has become such a bore instead of being touching - once sentence or about 5 seconds then montage then another sentence then montage. My golay.

Yes, i love the whole gang. I actually want to see more of them. What i was hoping instead of the slow pacing and unending flashbacks we could have more scenes with Bianx and Jet, and i want to know more about Nicole. Of course i waa hoping to see more og the Pangs couple. I like the facr that eventhough these actors are relatively new to the industry they are already good. Maybe thats why i want more of them.
