just wanted to make it clear that although the drama schedule leaks are from weibo, it is taken from the conference itself. whether youku will follow its 'released' timeline or not is a whole different story. if youku will push for a gongjun drama next yr, the best option is to air tbw early on the first half so as not to clash with anle...anyway, i am not that bothered with the criticisms from the trailer at this stage. i felt like it is good way for 'balancing things out'.. c-ent politics is too complicated. as you may have noticed, many 'highly anticipated' dramas and dramas that are expected to 'explode' have been suppressed

to those who are asking, i don't have the video link of youku's conference, i just saw a pic on weibo. but everything in c-ent is tentative so nobody really knows exactly when a drama will air. i saw lighter and princess scheduled for Q1 2022 but the drama is still currently filming so i guess youku just like to clown its viewers lol. still hoping though that tbw will get to air earlier but without having to sacrifice the quality of postproduction

gu man is still the scriptwriter for the drama, so i trust her with the add-ons and changes. yes, it really feels watching the novel come to life

please i just finished watching all 8 episodes and i cant get enough of yu tu and jingjing. it was well-directed and acted. the cinematography and graphics were awesome. they stayed true to the novel and the story build up was well put. i want to watch all the episodes now T_T

it's produced by huace and croton so hopefully they'll be uploading the episodes with subs on youtube -- that would be more convenient for everyone. also read on youku's twitter that they're recruiting for translators. im positive that the situation will be better next year for international fans

rumors say hunan is only allowed to air one historical drama this year so this will be broadcasted on cctv instead. the team is fighting for a feb/march release so hopefully we will see long ballad soon!
