However, I must admit that there are two things that are on my mind.
1) I don't like Ramil's approach to not harming the hunters. How will you defeat the enemy if you don't neutralize them? That's naive thinking, especially coming from an ancient, powerful being.
2) In places, Punn's behavior doesn't make sense, unless he was once a hunter. Then everything makes sense. If it turns out he was never involved with the hunters, I'll be disappointed.

The first episode didn't make a good impression on me. The special effects are mediocre. They're unnecessary in places, but the acting is decent, as I expected from the cast. So I decided to watch the second episode and... I have to admit, I fell in love with Ciar. And I have a soft spot for Ramil, who reminds me more of a puppy than a powerful vampire. That's why I'll keep watching.

Dla mnie części komediowe były zbyt absurdalne by były zabawne. I jak powiedziałaś, wampiryzm był tutaj naprawdę kiczowaty. Już chyba lepiej sprawdziłyby się duchy. Pomysł był kiepski, aktorstwo też tego nie ratowało. Nawet gdybym mi płacili nie obejrzałabym tego ponownie.

Why? Why do stories that steal my heart always remain unfinished or end in a way that leaves me unsatisfied?

I go to read novels because I absolutely must get closure, or I'll start screaming.

I love the whole series. It's awful. It's one big red flag waving wildly, stubbornly resisting the tornado of my common sense.

I'd read the books, so I knew what to expect, and even though I hated every page, I kept reading. And then I picked up the drama. Because why not?

Every character is disgusting in their own way. Even that innocent, sweet Night. No one here has a functioning moral compass. All the relationships are so toxic they pollute the air and ocean. Did I love it? Hell, yes. If any of the characters were truly good, I probably couldn't bear their suffering, but there weren't really any good characters here, so...

I should feel guilty for liking Itt and Day's relationship so much, but they truly captivated me. Half the time, I wanted to kick them both in the teeth and drown them in cement just to do the world a favor.

I have to admit, I'm a little concerned about your view of what's realistic and normal in relationships. Of course, real life isn't all rainbows and roses, but do you realize their relationship was based on physical and sexual violence, threats, and blackmail? Oh, and there was also kidnapping and manipulation. Literally nothing in this drama was realistic, at least not by the standards of healthy relationships. And none of the characters had a properly functioning moral compass. If I knew people like that in real life, I would have called the police.

I generally dislike that they used the same child actor to play the reincarnated doctor. That would mean he'd grow up looking exactly like he did in his previous life, which is unrealistic because he has different parents. And if every reincarnation were like this, there would be young clones of old people who have already died walking around everywhere. I think viewers aren't that stupid and would understand that a boy who sees a reaper and encounters it in a similar way to a doctor in the hospital (he drops a ball instead of a pen) is the reincarnation of the doctor, regardless of what the boy looks like.

I feel like the story stopped halfway through. S2?

As soon as this episode came out, even before I watched the next one and realized he'd been the one to put up the banner, I thought he was the most interesting character. I wanted to analyze his entire personality, his actions up to that point, to understand his psyche. To this day, I'm not entirely sure if what he did was intended to further justice or if it was purely selfish, intended to finally allow him to emerge from the shadows and not be the only openly gay man to be ridiculed.

Yes, he also talked about telling the truth, but he didn't admit in front of the school that he was the one who put up the banner or that his prefect boyfriend took part in the protests, even though that was also breaking the rules.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and tastes differ. What's ugly for some is delightful for others. I think everyone has the right to choose what they want to watch and why. I'm sure no film or TV series will suffer if someone skips it because they don't like the actor. Because in their place, there will be two more people who will like that actor.

I think he was one of the most interesting characters in the entire series. Without him, this drama would have lost a lot. Overall, I think they forgave him because each of them was wrong in their own way. Maybe revealing someone's relationship was a shitty move, but Akk could have killed his teammates with that car. None of them were typically good people.

I'll explain why my rating is so low. You should know that I absolutely love time travel and reincarnation. They're my favorite themes in every installment. So why am I giving this series a 7.5? It's because, for someone who hasn't read the novels, the ending doesn't make sense, and the drama leaves too many plot holes. If a second season came out and explained all of this, my rating would be higher. I'm generally not a fan of open endings.

Biorąc pod uwagę jak sławny pierwotnie był Neil, spodziewałam się, że jego powrót na scenę będzie nieco bardziej efektowne. Zamiast tego całe przygotowania doprowadziły do stworzenia jednej piosenki i zaśpiewania jej przed około 20 osobami w barze nad rzeką. To niestety trochę mnie rozczarowało. Byłam gotowa na podróż przez światła reflektorów wielkiej sceny, krzyczącej widowni i słuchania całego nowego albumu Neila i Sea. Po drodze oczekiwałam powolnego spalania w tle, które wybuchnie w wielki pożar po finałowym koncercie. Romans też nie poszedł zgodnie z oczekiwaniami, ale to akurat mnie nie rozczarowało bo mimo wszystko dobrze patrzyło się na ich rosnące uczucia.
Odcinki trwały 30 minut, ale jeśli odejmiesz piosenkę początkową, zapowiedź kolejnego odcinka i napisy końcowe to zostanie około 25 minut i to za mało. Za mało żeby wejść głębiej w psychikę postaci Neila, który przez lata pogrążony był w żałobie za bratem, który był filarem podtrzymującym całe jego życie i od którego był bardzo zależny. Twórcom udało się pokazać jego smutek, ale trochę zbyt pobieżnie biorąc pod uwagę jaką traumę przeżył z powodu wypadku. To samo dotyczy Sea. Oczywiście jest osobą bardzo samotną i zamkniętą w sobie. Chciałabym wiedzieć więcej o jego przeszłości i życiu rodzinnym. Wyraźnie był sam zarówno w retrospekcjach jak i w teraźniejszości i powiedziano nam, że jego matka mieszkała w Niemczech, ale to w zasadzie tyle. Co sprawiło, że był taki jaki był? Czy jego matka go porzuciła by założyć nową rodzinę? Co się stało z jego ojcem? Czy był sam odkąd był mały i spotkał Neila (i czy to nie przestępstwo)? Tyle pytań i brak odpowiedzi.
Mogłoby być też więcej muzyki w tej dramie poświęconej muzyce. Te piosenki, które się pojawiły były świetne, ale było ich z mało a przez to ciągle się powtarzały.
