From my understanding , the Gong fam share the same ancestor. I thought they're cousin at first but I think the blood goes wayyy back. The young master, ML elder brother, is relate to them in that same way. Share the same ancestor. No one is related by blood directly but is still under one family tree with the same bloodline. Like maybe it's actually the twin...But then unless the twin is a Wufeng spy, it's useless to replace FML, so it's possible they come tgt. Cuz it looks like the FML is recaptured by Wufeng so it either kills her or continues making use of her.
I watch the Gong Fam have an internal fight for like 2/3 of the drama, slapping and all but then suddenly in the last 1/3 they're all united...I didn't dare to believe it at first ...
