I didn't mention anything relating to CP. I know that both Esther and Zhang Linghe are busy and don't have time to promote. What I'm talking about is the character in the play and why the official account is not giving them any good promotion. For example, the fighting clip of the main lead is edited into a mess- inserting other clips in between. There are no behind-the-scene videos that would show the highlight of their acting, no hot search relating to their acting or plotline. Regarding others, I didn't mention and will not mention. I'm just stating my opinion based on what I see in the drama and the attitude that I see from the official drama account on Weibo and Douyin.

The upper statements make sense. But I still want to question IQIY and the drama official a little. IQIY broadcast this drama in a hurry, one to probably save the drama from being banned just in case the SA actor got in really big trouble, but two to also save IQIY summer heat because their summer drama was not reaching the heat level they wanted. So it doesn't make sense that they want the heat but at the same time don't want publicity. And when it comes to publicity, on Weibo, they're indeed doing a lot of marketing just not for the Main Leads. Then to bring up the problem with GJM, what's with all the messy cuts and edits when it comes to the main plot!!? From what I heard this drama's popularity did satisfy IQIY, but they could treat the lead better...
I'm really disappointed with the marketing of this drama. From having only one trailer for so long until the day the drama is suddenly released to barely promoting the main couple. The lead actor's acting is so good yet no hot search. The male lead hasn't got a single-person entry hot search once from what I've seen so far. The drama cut out the highlight of the ML and FML and the storyline didn't come back to the main track until around ep 16. The hot search entry I saw today didn't even bother bringing the ML and FML real name or character name while other actors in the show have countless hot searches a day. I'm gonna be honest, I'm indeed a certain actor/actress fan but at the same time, I'm also a drama fan, wayyy before the drama even aired so I do feel like I have the right to make some comment on the storyline of this drama. The platform IQIY also didn't do justice to this drama and its lead either. I'm very upset and sad about this treatment. The spoiler has been flying everywhere for the past few days and it's released by IQIY themselves.
But I will stick and watch this drama to the end, not only because I'm the actor's fan but because some of the plot lines still appeal to me. The first few ep and the recent few ep are actually really good-looking. The plot is developing fast and very exciting. Tonight the express package will be released and the discussion of the drama fan will be messy as some have already finished while some haven't got there yet. Let's not spoil the drama for other watchers.
I don't get the hate in this comment section. It's undeniable that this drama is a more exaggerated rom-com. However, the plot is not as bad as people are claiming. If you didn't like it at ep 7, don't scold it too badly, cuz you should have seen it coming since ep1...the guy literally parachutes into work and you thought the drama would be super logical?! I personally would pick this drama over those 100 % logical dramas that make me depressed and stressed for the entire week. It's funny and romantic and that is exactly what I want.
Seeing the two leads being scolded on Weibo and Douyin breaks my heart๐Since these two are now chosen, the most one can do is wish that all goes well and that the production turns successful instead of cursing the drama to be doomed for failure. If you really have a problem with it, just don't watch the show when it's broadcast. I don't understand why they're scolding the leads so badly. I hope people stop taking this chance to personally attacks the actors.
Her acting is fine. She's playing the role given to her perfectly.
Xinxin is just playing her role the way it was put. Even Yu Meiren's character complains about how dramatic she is being. This is the freaking character setup. Some people just try to find excuses to stir up trouble. If people actually watch the show, they would have known those scenes.
I do understand that Esther acting is of course not perfect but improvement are being made and she herself are also working hard on it. We don't want other to say that you can't complain about our favorite star but like...the complaint need to make sense. Especially when antis compare actors and actresses, they're just trying to cause trouble. If you have a problem with one, you don't have to drag the other in too.

She speaks about their differences and points out the impossibilities between them within their current positioning. Her statement was clear and straight to the point. She understands that he can't give up his goals but neither can she give up hers. Rumors are saying that during this ep, DFQC nearly burns down the entire 3 realms to revenge XLH's death or sth like that. Either way, ep 31 will be epic according to the director!
Let's be real, u guys don't want him to lose the power cuz you want to see more hot scenes of DFQC appearing and being all cool right ?๐ If ur sth reason is sth else other than that, I recommend you to think over again.
