Acting wise, I’d give this drama a 11/10. Plot wise, I feel like Writer has the same motif of writing:the clash of two worlds. In CLOY it was the North Korean squad visiting the South in ep 10. In QOT it’s Hae-In family moving in with the Baeks in ep 8. I love ep 8 the best- it was the climax of the story. However the Hongs overstayed their welcome and it seems dragged, which makes the clash lost its marble.
Plotwise I would give this drama a 7 but Park Ji Eun does know how to collect our tears with the intricate, emotional details. Also, kudos to writernim for keeping characters in character: Hae In after her miscarriage thinking Baek Hyun Woo is blaming her (she has that guilt from the past about her brother’s dead and her mom blaming her)
Things that I was hyped up and looking forward to seeing the satisfying closure but did not get: The voice message that grandpa left Hae In, the reclaiming of the illegal slush fund, any confirmation from the doctors after Hae In ultrasound (they make us cry so much just for Hae In to have a fast, miraculous recovery. What happened to a very rare and non-curable type of tumor/cancer?), Mo Seul Hee with the fake identity etc.
Park JiEun (writer) skills were definitely overestimated specially with all those predictions about Eunsoong's…

Ik devil is ashamed after watching eun seong..btw Can anyone tell me where hae in received the surgery???it supposed…
I wondered the same thing. Then I watched it again: it’s un ultrasound procedure. So technically no hair shaving needed? But then would she need general anesthesia? Hm…
Things that bother me up until ep 12: 1. Beak hyun woo’s eldest brother looks so old that he can be the same age with his dad 2. Hye In mom still doesnt change at all; judging from the way she talks to Da Hye 3. Beom Ja did all the detective work (pulling Mo Seul Hee) hair) to prove that its her fake identity…for what? They could not file a lawsuit againt that btch in the end and grandpa just had to die to save the fam. Beom Ja ended up being a spoiled daughter and nothing else. 4 eldest Hong brother simply does not exist after the first few eps. The man does not even show up in his dad’s funeral. 5. Hye In dad being really useless 6. Grandpa spitting out the pill, showing him regaining some memories but his decision to die is just as dumb as when he has amnesia.
I had high hopes that the eldest son would come to the rescue and team up with Beak Hyun Woo to save the conglomerate. However he is just simply absent in all the family’s events, including his father’s funeral. I don’t know if this is a shortcoming in the script or all the Hong members are just dumb and useless.
To me, one of the best scenes in ep 10 was hae in sitting in her MIL truck’s, looking at the sky and taking in the view of the golden flower field, then thanking her MIL. She is such a strong, assertive yet sensible character.
I just want to take a moment to praise Kim Soo Hyun's acting. He is like really really good in showing all the…
Preach! I was afraid at first that since the FL is so assertive that our ML will play more of a soft role. On the contrary, Hyun Woo is smart and sensible, calm and collected. They couple compliment each other rather than outshine one another. I really love the way the characters are portrayed in this drama.
The baby, Soochol’s son, I shed my tears when he cried on the airplane and during his vaccination. His acting was so real that I wonder what they did behind the scene to make such baby cry (:
I just feel its a bit offf that the Hong family file lawsuit against each other since they do show care to each other from time to time.
Please correct if I’ mistaken here: from the flash back in ep 8 it seems that BHW proposed to HHI. I thought somewhere in previous episodes BHW said “you promised you would protect me/not make me cry when you proposed to me”?

I wonder who the sister and brother take after :)
