Just curious. How come no ladies here mentioned the ginger eating scene? I thought it was very sensual, even more…
Is this show like western and netflix shows? That are set in historical times but all values are thrown out to cater to audience wanting raunchy scenes?
Chaeyeon, can't wait to see you in episode 9! It's been a long wait but I hope you get a decent amount of screentime…
But I hope kdramas don't start forcing a lot of female leads or female dominated dramas like western shows do just for the sake of political correctness or being woke. Forcing stuff like this in ruins shows.
Is this another drama like Mr. Queen where woke western audience are going to make a big deal about sexualities? It's on netflix so I'm assuming it's not a typical sageuk and quite tailored for foreign audience.
Another western remake? I hope Korean dramas don't go down the lane like western shows where everything is about sex and being trendy and ~woke~. Though I can see the hype around netflix may make them want to "break stereotypes" (which just means being more western) and appeal to foreign audience.
