Whomever chose the photos for the actors on this page is not doing these guys any favor. They are much cuter than i imagined when i started watching. And the series is better than what i expected (my expectation were quite low seeing the rating), it's not a masterpiece but it is very enjoyable so far
I'm curious how you think two grown men in love are supposed to act like?
Unfortunately what you say it's very true, there is a terrible lack of decent adults or even decent people around. I keep hoping for people to be more rational and logical, in reality or in fictional characters, and i get disappointed on both sides most of the time.

I haven't read the webtoon but what you say make so much sense to me. If the original material it's typical BL with usual tropes it makes a lot of sense than trying to make it looks realistic is a failing effort. BL genre is as distant from reality as the moon is from the sun. And it actually explains why Seung Hyun behaves in such a way that would be normal on a BL webtoon but seems off in a more realistic version.

Probably my expectations were too high because it started good, so i expected more development and more plot from the writers, and instead in episode 6 the seems to have put them on a wheel that turns around jut to end back in the same place. The rejection of Seung Hyun is basically the only plot development and it comes at the end of the episode. And i get what you say about experience and not age, but Seung Hyun is what 27? 28? i understand that he has no experience in dating and can be less mature, but if you are going for realism and not BL tropes, someone who is nearer 30 than 20 should be able to react more rationally than ditching the guy he just had sex with when he is not there and went to buy you breakfast. He may not have dated before but he has lived like a normal person which means that he should know that doing something like that would give the impression he was only interested in sex and nothing more. That's what anyone in real life would think if the person they were trying to date disappeared after a night together and proceed to ignore them like he did. I could understand the momentary panic but afterwards he keeps behaving like someone who is immature not simply in a love relationship but as a person in general, even when Jong Chan approches him first. And the reason why he behaves like that is adding to the impression of emotional immaturity, Jong Chan has done nothing wrong and has treated him with utmost care and respect and he has a breakdown because he may have dated his one sided crush from Uni? To me that isn't the reactions of an adult, or someone mature enough to have an adult relationship. And again i wouldn't mind this behavior if the authors were not screaming we are being realistic with each scene. Maybe i'm less forgiving simply because i feel disappointed that the writing isn't as good as i thought it would be.

Sorry you do realize there is a different level of maturity to be expected from adults in adult relationships and teenagers discovering what love is and how to deal with the turmoil of emotions that brings? Having a puppy love when you are 18 is not the same as having a relationship when you are 30. Feelings may be the same with different nuances but adults are expected to behave with a modicum of common sense and reason even when in love, because experience should have thought them how to interact with someone they like or love. As for the characters in this drama i would have expected that Seung Hyun would not run away after spending the night together with Jong Chan for flimsy reasons. (Kudos to Jong Chan for talking things trough afterwards). I expected more logical behavior also in not switching from 'we can't be seen together' one second to 'we flirt and hug in the swimming pool' without thinking about all the people they were working together and could still be around, and the writers to use that kind of cliché to make the episode look more romantic or fluffy instead of actually developing the plot or the characters. If the writers have chosen to go for a realistic portrayal of an adult relationship as they seem to be aiming at, they have failed to actually give real dept to the characters and make them real and not caricatures of BL stereotypes. If they are not aiming for a more realistic story but just the usual BL story with unrealistic romance of any flavor, they have failed in the fairy tale like romance part of the writing. The tacit pact between writers and readers/watchers is suspension of belief but that works differently if you are telling the cinderella's story or presenting pride and prejudice, they may seem cut from the same cloth but they are not, and if in cinderella i can accept that she falls in love with the prince at first sight and he sends people looking for a girl that can wear a crystal shoe, i would never find the same behavior reasonable from Elisabeth Bennet and Darcy. How you construct and write things means your characters should be adequate to their story and coherent in their world. For me personally the latest two episodes are not in line with the way Jong Chan and Seung Hyun behaved in the first four episodes.
Why has this become so slow and to me personally very boring? First four episodes were enjoyable, then the latest two seem like we need to reach the 8-episode-quota so we drag the story with surreal reactions and circumstances making the characters of two grown men act with the same logic of middle school kids on their first fling, but with less chemistry than teenagers in love. I truly expected better.
Why did they make Seo Min Young the main character she is so damn stupid and unsufferable that she ruins every scene she is in. Mo Hyun Min should have been the lead a much better written character who's compelling even when she is doing manipulative things.
The Guest was scary with that whole Park Il Do thing. Sure the ending could have been better and some parts left…
and i assume you know Bulgasal https://kisskh.at/683675-immortal written by the same authors of the guest. It is not as good as the Guest but still a pleasant watch

Hellbound https://kisskh.at/57415-hell The premise is a supernatural one but the strength of this drama is not about the story but about the picturing of modern society and the portrayal of human nature more than the supernatural events occurring
