Even I am loosing the interest but I don't understand why people are so sad that drama is getting high rating ...may be other people are liking it ...it does not appear any criticism rather it appears their sadness is turning into hatred ...

The drama, the way it has started , had such a great potential was going great till episode 4 or to some extent till episode 6 ...but from here it has lost its tempo ...it just infuriating because both seo in guk and park bo young are such great actors and they really deserve good story and script ...even the production , cinematography, music and other actors are also doing great job ...but major fault of drama that has ruined everything is it has no story or plot ...or if writer was going for slow paced story with no twist or turns then it must have a good script at least

The main crust of drama was the wishes that was granted ...the plot should have woven around it but I think writer just forgets about and now it does not make sense
Personality of doom shows 180° change -he was serious angry tsundre guy with mischievous side to him but now suddenly he become this puppy..in the start there was strong chemistry and tension between the two lead which should have progressed well to show them crazy in love ..the whole progression of falling in love is missing ....
The connection between the second couple love triangle and whole theme of story is missing ..they make no sense in the drama
The writer of the story is same as that of beauty inside drama ..and I remember that drama was strated good but after few episode it became boring and I had to leave it ..

I am loving the drama ...it follows different pathways and story than the traditional storyline of korean drama ..yes it has its drawbacks ..as far as my roomate is gumiho is concerned , though it is enjoyable but sometimes there is over acting ..this is one criticism of korean movies or drama where they do over the top comedy sometimes it works wonderfully and sometimes it just fall flats ...this is the case of gumiho sometimes I find moments enjoyable but sometimes it feels cringe and over the top ...

If serial was not killed while pushed by mother , then how the future of female lead and her mother possible near the grave ..it was only possible if that point of time serial killer was dead ..she just fainted like her mother
If she was not fainted and already killed the mother then she could have killed the young fl too ..how come in the end fl was shown in the chair in the basement ...in the ending they should have shown female lead to be butchered to show that she has been tortured or disappeared entirely that she was already dead in the past like Hollywood movie looper
I don't know why in Asian movie except outlaws , serial killer are shown with super human power like they don't die nor they injured ...in I saw the devil , the serial killer underwent so many attacks and accidents and still was walking healthy and powerful , here she was in front of gas explosion ..just few burns and was all fine

Somebody(zinmoy ) suggested that dong kyun and doom are imaginary character of na ji na story ..so whatever happening in ji na's life reflect in the story (Her moods ) ..this also explain how second lead triangle are connected to main lead ..let's see

I know cigarette s are trends but actually they are symbols to indicate morally ambiguous male character ..that he is not that ideal and upright person and they have immense capacity to damage or hurt people ..that's why they are grey character .for example vincenzro who does not flick while killing people Even it seems right ..similarly doom is the cause of unhappiness and destruction ..he stop really cares for human emotions , he seems evil and ready torture ..it is quite interesting because past 12 years of avid fan of kdramas , I have rarely come across the male leads who are murderers even if they are ..their end generally is not good ..either they died or go to jail ..or there is some poetic ending or violence have really taken toll on them.....

From this discussion , I can understand majority of people who are not liking it actually do not understand what's going on ...they are those people who needs to explain everything line by line ..you have explained it correctly

I am also enjoying inspite all the drawbacks ..I am loving it ..the chemistry music intensity ..all are working for me ..I do understand why people are not liking it but I don't understand their sadness over its popularity ..means if you don't like it then don't watch it .they think if they are not liking it then every other person should not like it ...

People....sometimes we just want to watch things just for our heart sake , and this drama is like that ..because you just don't know when times passes by ...though not much happen in story ..it is just that you like it you smile ,, you swoon handsome male lead and you cry watching this drama..it is just a moment , nothing much to think about

You are not alone ..only bromance let me stuck to the Goblin and then second lead couple love story ...ml and fl appears to be more like uncle and niece ..however direction , cinematography and acting was good

Even I feel the same ..however I don't mind second couple triangle too may be they will have some link to main couple ...I think the problem is the tone of drama is that of tragic and desperate love but as usual in korean drama, there have to be comedic scenairo , even if theme of drama does not complements ..I see this problem in many of kseries , sometimes makers execute it very well but many a times , it just ruins the flow of stories ..that's why beyond evil is the best k drama ..however inam enjoying this because of chemistry and how fucking hot seo in guk looks and his eyes

One thing I notice about this drama, which is usually missing stories based on love-hate relation is the leads talk directly ..they do not frustrates us ..like we are hoping why he or she does not tell the real reason ..why don't they sit and talk ...but here they really put their feelings in front of each other whether they are angry or happy or longing something

You are just hoping a new drama Man ..this drama is about intense gothic love story where terminal illness is just a plot point ..

Koreans have different flavours ....they like either makange or over the the top comedy series ...they discard such stories or looked down upon such drama as fantasy of teenage girl..moon lovers was also to flop and Chicago type writers was also flop ..plot is also important but if that was the case then beyond evil must be hit ...I don,'t know sometime we just need to watch simple love stories nodoubt the golden era of romantic stories existed around 80 and 90 and beginning of 2000s that are still considered classic but often made fun of being shallow ....

If you want to give tragic ending then atleast give more steamy scenes ..it should be the rule

Is it only me who thinks many a times guest appearances breaks the flow of thd episode ..guest appearances do not work always

It's fine even I don't like at first instance . ...but I am looking at more technical aspect ...like shift from traditional story of hero , script , and flow ...flow is the most crucial aspect of the series ...it has lot of drawbacks too...I like your article .. ..for me the most frustrating thing is enforced love triangle and writer purposefully make fl dumb enough not to know that SL interested in her even it is very clear ...
